Since WanamLite isn't maintained any more, what would you guys recommend is the next best TouchWiz based ROM?

Wanna flash a ROM for my sister, she's not too technical so just want to get her something she's used to so that's why going with TouchWiz. I've used WanamLite before but now that its not maintained not sure what else to try. Tried ARHD before too, and it wasn't too good, performance was not up to WanamLite standard.

Any recommendations?

i also facing the same issue now since wanam left s3. his customize stock rom so far is the best i been use (v68).
now i trying stock 4.3 firmware from uk with wanam xposed. also try other 4.3 sammy rom available in xda but still cant find one that suit me most...

currently the issue i facing now was very low reception from my phone provider (DIGI) with mk6 modem. got few time the phone screen light up itself because it totally change to no service.

downloading omega v52 now...

I downloaded Omega, was ready to flash before I saw this post above mentioning Zdroid. I think I'll give Zdroid a try first, seems like a decent choice for my purposes. No frills modification of stock just debloated and with some optimizations. Don't think my sister will care so much about all the extra stuff in Omega or the other ROMs which add stuff.

what's there to maintain?
seems no different at all for samsung roms.
the rom itself no changes also.

just take a stock rom, root and use wanam xposed to get all the features and customization.
kernel side use yank, that should be it already.

Try Omega ROM, there are going to release v53 soon.. pretty decent, and with aroma installer, u can choose not to install Samsung bloats..

also if u flash Boeffla kernel, battery life is very good.. Boeffla's idealogy is to keep things simple..

just wondering, in boeffla kernel, check you battery usage,
do you have any apps appear in battery usage?

previously i tried boeffla, in batter usage, it doenst show any apps,
only have some usual sysmem apps like, android system, android OS, cell standby etc

Try CM11 with ART and stock kernal, the phone is on deep sleep all the time. but beware ART is not competible with Xposed modules yet.

I went playstore search for gamekiller and saw the comment ppl mentioned: It needs Superuser, not SuperSU.
