I'm about to buy a S.Note III in the next few days.
Just wondering, what is the official warranty offered by Samsung?
Is it 1 year or 2 years? Getting different answers from different shops.

One year standard warranty by SME.
Unless you get from big retail shop like SenHeng, Harvey Norman, etc... they will offer free (or you need to buy extended warranty offer by them) plus the existing of one year SME warranty.

SME set warranty 1 year
AP set warranty 2 year
Thats why some shop say 1 year and some shop say 2 years

Recently installed an app which drain my battery..im not sure what but when i press long on home key..it shows google music and my magazine in active application column..any way to check the drainage factor?

This two apps always run on background even you manually exit it. If you doesnt use it I suggest you turn it off in the application manager. It solve the problem.

I noticed the backside of my Spigen Neo Hybrid case is scratched badly
I cleaned it using eraser, it becomes better but still looks being tortured

Just bought UAG Navigator for $22.9 muahahahaha

Anyway, is there any way to turn off the LED notification light say, after 30 minutes blinking unattended? Suspecting it is part of the reason my battery drain at a suspicious speed while I was asleep.

No. H+ is 3.5G. You will see a 4G symbol if you are on 4G.
