FOC to me, go to any phone shop you often buy goods from them, normally they will cut for you FOC.

Yup its the easiest material to scratch. Should get a phone with screen made out of diamond.

I try to press the 'check for update' in my phone,but it does not have any respond.
so i tried to download and use skies,then it shown this error.

normally,even if there it no update, but once press the ' check for update' it shall have a window box showng " connecting to server" then later pop up and said your firmware is up to date and etc,right?

Honestly I only install Kies for the sake of Samsung driver for Odin or USB tethering function.

For firmware update, it is best to do FOTA or download the full firmware and flash via PC Odin or MOP

You don't even need kies for that. Samsung usb driver is littered all over xda and the internet. icon_rolleyes.gif

just to share, after recent update.. battery drain on my note 3. It shows Android OS taken up 70%. Googled and some people said SD card. So I tried reformat the card. Same result even after clear cache.

Downloaded wake lock detector. Saw google+ drain battery. remove google + update. same result. Then I clear cache.

After clear cache now back to normal. Over night drain only 4%. Nice.

I go to nearby shop and the bos helped me cut it for free, but I live in Penang...
