Luckily it broke right after my taipei and HK trip. I dont know if i would be sending it for repair or not. Probably not anytime soon.

oredi reboot both...my laptop don show anything that it cant access internet n workg fine...but my hp the symptom only at playstore and web browser app..sometime effect fb apps...wasap working fine...

weird thing was when i test internet speed test..it don show any local server..instead always got brunei thai and singapore..sometimes indo...

when i off and on again wifi mode..it detect malaysia..can browse playstore and internet..after while...it cant acces anymore....

Condolence your lens, that is bad broken. This you no need says anything, it's void from warranty. Suggest bring over service centre see what they said on repairment.

today visit holiday plaza at JB, saw got sell the china S view cover RM25. got try and it working.

I also saw it many phone shop selling it at lowyat plaza. Price around RM40-45. Looks almost same like original samsung S View. The shop guy show me the chip also. He say it use good chip.

I think your lens is working fine, just need to change the outer layer 'glass' of the camera

yeah yeah exactly, have to replace the camera glass panel, the camera can still focus pretty good when the flash is on

I did changed camera's chrome ring 2months at SC....The whole camera module is a part of back cover with loudspeaker as one spare part.... Good luck to you....might be quite costly

ebay sellers sell this whole part, for around 100. if i want to manual repair, but im not sure if i should risk of getting some internal parts messed up

ive inquired a private repair centre (lowyatforum name: gtoracer1)

he quoted RM150 to replace. seems very reasonable and in my budget.

anyone here had go to his shop to repair before? trusted?
