Appreciate the photos ... do you know if the casing home button is able to function properly if installed glass SP?
*
no problem at all. Mine is applied with Glass-M.

First impressions:
1. Excellent build quality and it feels really nice in hands. thumbup.gif
2. Thoughtful design in the details - Z-type hinge, recess camera cut-out and 4 slight bump in the 4 corners at the back to lift the casing back from the surface of table.
3. Not difficult to remove (for replacing battery) compared to UAG.
4. Buttons are very responsive to presses.
5. No problem with Glass SP, at least with Glass-M slim type that is applied on my Note 3.
6. White is elegant, Black is more stealthy.

Some minor weak points:
1. The clear plastic is fingerprint magnet. Need to apply a SP for sure.
2. The audio cut-out can't fit my fat Canare F12 plug. sad.gif
3. No cover for bottom USB port and audio port. I prefer a rubber cover like Otterbox.
4. Camera will be partially block if you use the camera with the front cover flip all the way to the back but i think no one will do that. tongue.gif

Quite a few asking about the prices, i bought together with bro pokemon01234.
Total cost for 1 Black 1 white:
1. Spigen Slim Armor View - USD47.99 x 2 (Pre-order offer price, normal price is USD59.99 each)
2. Shipping - Fedex International Priority USD25.49 (there is cheaper option but i just can't wait any longer blush.gif)
3. Custom tax = RM38.84 (another lucky guy bought without tax imposed) blink.gif

I think LYN Garage seller will offer cheaper prices soon.

Just to save your bottom hole (no pun intended) by sacrificing the fast charging rate and ability to use your phone while charging is really not worthwhile IMHO
*
Agree, just buy original Samsung Battery kits with desktop charger is much cheaper and better. Can swap out the battery in 30 seconds. thumbup.gif

I will only consider wireless charging if and only if the phone battery is not removable. Else, a spare battery is always the best.

I've considered this option too. But at the end , I choose power bank. Really lazy to tear the protector cover, then the cover, and change the battery.

SPare battery and the kit is just for that particular model. Powerbank can be used for many model.
*
I only need a powerbank if i am travelling overseas when i will not have access to power point for long period. For daily usage, a spare battery is perfect for my Note 3 coz it is much lighter and smaller then power bank. My other mobile devices - Ipad Air and Nexus 7 2013 can last 2-3 days without the need to charge.

But yes, using tight casing like UAG can be troublesome to change battery. Samsung original S-View casing is easy to take off for changing battery. My new Spigen Slim Armor View is great too - much easier to be removed than UAG.

how to format the contact number as format below

+6012-123 4567
my note 3 current format is 0123456789 which i found hard to read it.

thx.
*
Stock ROM? Just edit and add +6 in front of 012-1234567. Never need to "format" it. It is display as +6012-123 4567 in mine.

Can I know if u saved the phone no. as +60121234567, when he/she call u it shows 0121234567 or +60121234567?
Because even I saved the no. as +60121234567, it gives me 0121234567 too when he/she call me hmm.gif
*
+60121234567, not +6012-123 4567 though. +6012-123 4567 only display as such in Contacts.

a little head up for head-fi Note 3 owner - the Spigen Slim Armor View audio jack cut-out is very small. Tested cannot fit Shure 215, Canare F12 and even a Standard Straight Gold plated male plug on a custom cable. rclxub.gif So far only the Sennheiser Momentum plug can fit in just nice. doh.gif oh.. gosh, need to buy new custom cable to find a way to drill the hole bigger. huh.gif

QUOTE(Baronic @ Jan 10 2014, 09:55 PM)
is it smaller than the normal slim armor? or same size the hole?

ive never trust USPS. I find USPS one of the worst mail services, they're slow, tracking is near impossible, and for some reason always have issues at customs. I avoid it like a plague. Not like they're very cheap also for international.

btw, for all you folks who PMed me regarding my case, ive made the bulk thread and link is in my siggy

I dun have the normal slim armor, so can't compare. But it's definitely smaller than UAG. I can still plug in Shure SE215 into UAG.

Anyway, do a brute surgery to enlarge it. Quite ugly without an IEM plug in (wide open cutting) blush.gif but looks and works perfectly if plug in with big fat connectors. laugh.gif

Nice!! How i wish Slim Armor View audio cut out is as big as Otterbox Commuter. Btw, where did you get your Slim Armor View? Also directly from Spigen?

Guys got a question. Thinking of expanding the battery life by buying Sun Global battery (3650mAh) for Note 3. Is it safe?
*
Just buy the original battery from Samsung shop. Why risk your thousand dollars phone for saving of few bucks? doh.gif
