Hi All.

Is it advisable to use the Air Purifier when the windows and door is in closed position or just let the outside air go in(windows, sliding door, door in open position)?

Usage: Livingroom
*
You can use it both way with sealed door or windows. Because closed airflow indoor environment are more polluted than outside.

Medklinn seems very good too. it cleans the air by ionizing, but it doesnt have the filter the air. so dust particles will fall on the floor and have to clean the follr more often.

For Air Purifying, is always recommend to use HEPA filter type Air Purifier.

Are air purifiers effective in rooms with no aircond?
*
Yes. Why not? Is nothing to do with air conditioning or not.

I use this Singapore Gov Agency website as benchmark.
https://www.haze.gov.sg/resources/portable-...e-and-suppliers

They got provide CADR as well. Well, you know we Malaysia and Singapore have similar seasonal Haze event that came from Indonesia.

is Coway's air purifier good? but seems expensive...
*
Define:
1. Good
2. Expensive

Good mean, have HEPA to filter what you want and enough of CADR to deal with your Room size. Low Noise, energy saving and yet zero ozone for environmental friendly. Other fancy feature like Wifi connected are side feature.

Expensive or not are very subjective, different budget can buy different level of Air Purifier. Of course bigger CADR will be more expensive. For entry level budget below 1k. I always recommend people go look for Xiaomi.

Talking about Air Purifier, my replacement HEPA filter cost as much as a new Mi Purifier 2S. LMAO. but only change every aprox 4-5 years based on my usage.

Cukur haze now gone for now. I can delay again for the purchase. lol

So during haze, your air filter out the smog particles.
Now you don't want to replace the filter with all those particles trap in it....

Can dirty filter give you clean air?
*
Good HEPA filter are trapped all the particles inside, it won't come back out when you are not using the filter or keep it idle for months.

Good HEPA = True HEPA

Need some wise opinion/advise on this purifier.
SHARP claim filter life can last up to 10 years as to compare to others which is only up to 2 years. Anyone is convinced or it is just a gimmick?

https://my.sharp/products/air-care/fph90lw?v=1200
https://my.sharp/sites/default/files/produc...ents/FP-H90.pdf
*
Which filter last up to 10 years? The HEPA? If the claim by their own company are BS usually.

Maybe they wanna bluff consumer that every month use 1 hours only, therefore last for 10 years. lol

Best look for those have electronic monitor system. Whether is build in the purifier system or app connected to calculate how many air circulate for the usage.

No mention of CADR too. As expected from Sharp. Somemore cost at RM2k too. Personally not recommended.

my sinus is getting back, thought of getting one to see whether can improve my condition or not

my room is just small, so those around rm300+ should be sufficient right?

Also, for those rm300+, need to change filter? not stated on lazada
*
there is no Air Purifier no need to change filter.

Always look for Air purifier that must/need to change filter. at least with monitoring system to calculate.
