Out of the 10 teams in the top 11 excluding ourselves of course, we have only 2 wins (Manu and Spurs) out of 10.

Championship/Top 4 pretenders?

Yes exactly my thoughts, we need to improve our form against the top teams. But to be fair, out of those 10 teams we played 8 of them away (only Manu and Soton game at home).

So our away form against top half teams is pretty bad. smile.gif

Interesting fact to take note of...

Liverpool have not started the New Year in the top four since 2008-09 (first place).

Liverpool have now hit the woodwork 16 times this season, more than any other Premier League side.

They have been unlucky with injuries, hopefully they maintain this poor form till we get our revenge. tongue.gif

Spurs on the other hand looks so much more threatening going forward with a 4-4-2. Dembele dominating the central area, Eriksen's creativity, Lennon marauding the wings and Adebayor actually plays like a striker unlike Soldado.

I don't think that's a bad thing though, when you see other top clubs targeting the same player that means this player probably is the real deal.

Stoke have only lost once at home this season and conceded 7 out of those 10 home games. Scary eh?
