I'm using this.. just got it .. 12ft underwater for as long as u want.. also bought the waistband.. X-1 is one the most reliable brand for water sports..

when dealing with water... reliability is the 1st thing i consider... cos the warranty not covering phone damaged by water.. most they replace a new unit of the case only.
*
Oh i see... your X1 should be waterproof since it is quite expensive..

The main reason why I bought the Dri-Dock was because I wanted to shoot video underwater.. my iphone now becomes like an underwater camera and some more can go underwater up to 10 meters deep before the water pressure becomes too much to crush the water seals. So I could be snorkelling in the many island resorts and then diving down to shoot videos of the beautiful coral fish.

plus point: Can also shoot underwater babes drool.gif

interesting... but does it comes with warranty? i tried looking at their website but not stated... looks good ... shoot underwater.. hehehe
*
warranty? as in replace your phone if the water gets in? That I don't think so, but based on what I have seen so far, its looking good. They will teach you how to test the water seals are intact or not before using.

their webbie: www.dri-dock.com

How it works: there are three seals like locktite bag and then fold down the three seals, roll down twice, and then again follow with another two buttons to lock down the seals.

I have shot video underwater and its very clear. Tried to shoot photos but the wet fingers will prevent the touch screen from working... so got to shoot photos using the side buttons instead.

Plus, inside the pouch is an earphone cable that can be attached to the phone for you to listen to music while you are in the water, this may be handy if you have your own swimming pool in the garden. The built in earphone cables are waterproof too. you will need your own waterproof earphones.

Perhaps you would like to ask them whether you can get to sell their products or not. I have emailed to ask whether can buy here in Msia or not and got a reply from Andrew, the CEO saying that their products are not sold in Malaysia yet. They are in based in Krabi, Thailand. They have a distributor in Indonesia, i guess must be Bali.

I got the pouch in Bali from Waterbom Bali, a waterpark tourist attraction. They will normally sell their products in waterparks or water resorts...

Guys, from what i've read is this thread, the best power bank is Anker....

how about yaobao? same league or anker better or yaobao better?

dunno much about power bank, hope can give me advice on this...

Anker seller is ismartpower in LYN, good seller? from what his selling thread show it's quite good....
*
Yes, Anker is better as they use quality materials to build the unit.

So I got two from iSmartpower.. no problems as he will deliver. The Astro 3 is quite big. Astro 2 is a nicer package.. depends on what you want. You might want to check out the Slim3 or their website: www.ianker.com

Shake to charge, shake to check the power available, no buttons to press or to spoil.
But the 3 pin plug is not included.. use your phone's charger to charge the Anker.

Sure, Anything in particular u need to know?

For me, selling point is the smoothness and rounded edges of the glass, really stands in bright light  thumbup.gif  . Cut is exact, theres probably only 0.1mm gap between home button and screen protector home-button cutout.

So far i've been using since November. Since then, i've switched 5S 2 times. This being my 3rd unit from DiGi. So u can imagine how many times I removed and re-applied the screen protector ( note that I removed it A LOT to get absolutely no dust and perfect alignment on each install )

Surprised to see the adhesive still held up  sweat.gif

Only got a few hairline scratches on it from using an old rag to clean the screen.

Using my phone with Spigen Ultra Hybrid, Perfect match  thumbup.gif

Switched iphone 5S twice? Is it becoz of the rattling sound?

Great to know about your SP... I also thinking about putting on tempered glass sp..

saw the ITG, something like Impossible Tempered glass ... rm135 !

First issue was dead pixels, claimed warranty and realised DiGi gives refurbished units even though the unit is a week old . 2nd unit had the worst screen ever with crappy colors and interlacing. 3rd unit now has less interlacing but still bad. Unfortunately I cannot claim anymore as there is a limit to how many times u can claim when the phone is still working according to DiGi.  doh.gif

Also, i noticed all refurbished units of 5S has interlaced screen. Current unit has a really plastic 'click' on home button compared to previous one..

Just my luck I guess  doh.gif
*
Now u make me worried a bit.. I never thought iphone can get dead pixels... time to look look look at the screen..

oh ya, where you bought your siege?

Got my Siege from bro dino89 here biggrin.gif

Really excellent service and packaging from him smile.gif

I've given up in arguing with DiGi, as the 3rd replacement I called Apple then got it replaced.. DiGi Denied replacement at first since they see it as a non-issue .
*
Thanks! Just got the Siege from him. So far, I like the tempered glass as the main protection layer.
Yup, met up with dino89 to do cod. Recommended seller !

I will have more things to buy ...

Aiya, i never ecounter this altough i apply glass m (few times) and armorz  ohmy.gif
*
Ah, you mean you can apply the Glass M SP and then take it out and then apply it again multiple times?

I know the Siege glastimate can... but now just bought the ITG from bro dino89, I may want to try this method of using it multiple times becoz I wanna change covers every other week for example ... tongue.gif

But I was advised not to do this becoz the adhesive is different for ITG and Siege.. Seems Siege is the one that you can use and reapply mutliple times...

means I need to get more Siege smile.gif

Why do u need to replace the sp when u change cover?
*
Well I have an Otterbox Defender that requires the phone to be totally nude, means there is no space even for a 0.20 mm Glass SP. The Otterbox is that Tight.

When do I use the Otterbox? When I go cycling and hiking and go on holiday tours like island hopping, or go on walking tours that will need me to carry lots of stuff in the backpack and if the phone is not well protected, if it falls it will be damaged. So I will need the extra protection that the Otterbox defender provides, which is just below the waterproof, military grade, more expensive, Otterbox Armor.

Once my phone accidentally slipped out of my hands onto the tarmac road while I was in a rush to get the phone out to take a snapshot of something interesting but the scene is a changing one which must be shot or else it will be gone. Tarmac is really rough and would scratch or damage most covers but the Otterbox cover was superb, no mark whatsoever even on the solid rubber cover.. needless to say, the phone is still in pristine condition covered by the thick and bulky shock absorption capabilities. Of course, the trade off is the bulk. Otterbox is actually quite bulky and the screen is a little harder to use due to the plastic screen covering the phone. but now after much practice, its quite easy as I have gotten used to it, so no issues. Like anything that is of value, it is always harder in the beginning. But does it mean you just give up? Not me. So to make myself comfortable with the touch screen, I just use it everyday for a month and now its like the plastic screen is not there.

When will I need the glass SP? So at other times, I would need the slim cover, SPG Neo hybrid to be used for everyday events like going to work, going for a show or dinner or go shopping. You won't need the Otterbox protection in this case. If fact, the Neo hybrid makes the iphone looks so cool in red and black! thanks bro dino89 again !

It would be nice if the glass SP can be used and taken off multiple times in this case, just so that the touch screen would be protected and be much nicer to use during those times.

If it really cannot be used many times, then I will just forget about it and give away the ITG sp to some relative who has an iphone 5.

Just some pics of SPG Tough armor and Neo Hybrid.
I like the Neo hybrid better as it keeps the phone slim and slick but may not withstand a heavy drop. With the Tough Armor, the phone gets a strong jacket for protection against the usual fall. So its a matter of making sure you don't drop the Neo hybrid...

Armorz extreme lite. The thing is I don't put my phone together with my wallet or keys. Always in a pocket with my other phone. I thought it was hair but when I wiped, it doesn't go away. Adoi pening.

But usually if using normal SP, by the 2nd months I already can see scratches. Did not expect to get this deep scratch on glass sp. One thing about Armorz, it's still smooth and the oleophobic coating still last after few months.
*
hmm... after 2nd month can see scratches?... really ah?

Both my Siege glastimate and the ITG tempered glass still very new but of course, they are about 2 to 3 weeks old only. But of course, need to take care not to scratch it eventhough you think it cannot be scratched with knives and keys. Its better not to risk it, just take more care as its still glass, and CAN be scratched by sand or sand particles ..
