QUOTE(westlife @ Dec 22 2015, 04:54 PM) It is not too bad given that MacBook is never known as a gaming laptop. The performance of the integrated Intel Iris graphic card is really not bad. thanks man. I decided to get a 15'.Dota 2 is totally playable on MBP. Did u guys come across something like HDMI splitter? as i wish to share my deskstop monitor with the macbook? and i heard the RAM and SSD of new macbook cannot be upgrade later right? |

QUOTE(westlife @ Dec 22 2015, 05:09 PM) There is such thing as hdmi splitter but normally those are the accessories without brand one. ya man... but i doubt of 256GB is sufficient... RAM can not upgraded SSD can but very troublesome process to upgrade it. It is good to go with the correct size of sad u need in the first place then try to upgrade later or buy all sort of external storage to compensate it it is waste of money and time. If u buying the 15-inch model then no need to upgrade rite as it is already 16gb and u cannot upgrade it anyway as it is max already. 512 SSD and apple care is da boom |

QUOTE(westlife @ Dec 22 2015, 05:21 PM) 256 is the minimum req which it at least give sufficient space for running boot camp etc. ya man... as the new rMBP is not cheap... apple care for a peace of mind is worthy as i feel...It is good to have especially if budget permits. now i can't decide 13' or 15' ... hmmm |

QUOTE(westlife @ Dec 27 2015, 01:50 AM) possible, sure will rise by then, it has risen three times in 2015. I personally see the new model of rMBP mostly is a cosmetic update, spec wise will be marginal compare to current model. Price wise, I feel it will be going even more steeper.one time is less than a month before GST, one time is after GST, one time is in oct. total 3 times price hike.. oct that time, comparative 12-inch MacBook pricing, Malaysia saw a 24 percent increase with base models now selling for 5,899 Malaysian ringgits, up from 4,769 ringgits. |
