I wonder why not you guys just order it on Apple Store MY? huh.gif

It's because I won't be at the same place during the whole April, I dunwan that Apple send my item to an address but I'm not there; while ordering at a store I can collect it at diff place as long as it's the same branches hah

hi all.

currently planning to order a rMBP before GST.
any recommendation for the mouse? magic mouse or Logitech T630?
*
Well, when we discuss about mouses, it's really an issue of preference. As from what I see based on images, Logitech T630 doesn't seems ergonomic to me compare to Magic Mouse(whom also doesn't feels right for me), you should really get a hands on for both items to find the best for your hand, the last thing you want is a mouse that'll cause pain to hold.

Hope its okay for me to connect with ex. monitor most of the time when using for daily works  smile.gif Btw, I'm using SmcFanControl, and it's show my current temperature is around 40-49c  smile.gif Hope its a normal temperature.

I have mine around 45c under 30c room temperature, so I guess that's the average temp for us without aircond hah.
Then I tried running Transistor from my Steam acc and the temp goes up above 90c sweat.gif, guess I'll only play them below an aircond haha

yeap i checked that box.
i tried it on safari. the second click that makes the dictionary pop ups is the vibration? blink.gif

Since I have the 'touch to click' unchecked, the only way for me to make a click is by applying slight pressure, the touchpad will recognise it and return a light haptic experience immediately which is much like a real clicking.
And to make the force touch, I'll need to press bit harder, feedback are a light haptic followed by a stronger one, you can definitely tell the difference.

Summary: The whole experience is excellent for me with the natural clicking sensation by the new touchpad.

How is the diff from previous trackpad to force touch trackpad?

More smooth?

Not sure the feeling same as Magic Trackpad or not

In terms of tracking and smoothness, pretty much the same.

The only difference is the clicking feeling when you press down onto the trackpad.

On the springboard type of trackpad, it's a very obvious tactile feedback when you click on it, but on the Force Touch trackpad, it feels very soft and requires much less force to trigger a click.

It doesn't really matter much if you tap to click anyway, but I find myself to click down onto the trackpad more often as compared to my previous MBA.  biggrin.gif

Agree with SkylineFreak, the most difference you may experience from traditional trackpad is that you can click on anywhere of the trackpad surface, and the feedback is really natural and pleasing. After using the force touch trackpad for some time, when turning back to the traditional trackpad, I find myself trying to press down on the hard surface to perform clicks haha
