how many of you here purchase applecare for your macbook? is it a popular thing that ppl get? how reliable is a rMBP these days...thinking whether to get or not because RM800+ is alot for extra warranty.

Buy a thing is depend on luck right.

my never add up at all, so far from rMBP 13" late 2013 till still works great like new, just depend on personal careless or not.

Anyway external case should used.
*
very very depend on luck some time no matter how careful, hardware also will spoil.

the best if have the budget go and get applecare for extend warranty.

for macbook protection which one you recommend?

i cant find a reason not to, my previous Mid 2012 model had multiple repairs that costed more than getting a brand new unit.
thankfully i was covered by ACPP
*
agree, just register my apple care reason just to save repair cost. biggrin.gif
