For those who have own the phone, is YouTube streaming smooth? my phone Youtube is so lag, not smooth at all, worst than my Lenovo P770.... oh my goodness

I am letting go my phone, just got it on Saturday noon. Charge and tested out.

Not to my expectation.

I have ordered an GLass Screen Protector from Lelong RM50
and a phone case from Taobao.

Any other app for Youtube?
Tried to play video on LAN through laptop is fine. Just the YouTube part I am not bearable.

I did not try on GPS because the first thing I tried is Youtube and it lags.. Try to tweak power save to normal still same. I do not have much expectation on the phone GPS because I am current Lenovo P770 user which ended up I bought a Papago to use...

Let's just say I can't live without Youtube in phone. So, once I found out this issue, straight away I pack back everything to the box and wanted to sell. Because I wasted too much on accesories. Hope to sell early to cover some cost... haizzz


Even my China tablet with no brand name performs better than Huawei Youtube apps. I dono why.

Is there anyone with the phone can help to try out YouTube? Maybe is my phone problem then I will not sell and send for warranty instead.

Ya, it is a good phone. I loved it that's why I start to buy accessories for it... but now.
Camera is far far better than what I have now.
Love to keep the phone if the Youtube works fine.
Do you tried other Youtube app as suggested by forumers here?

Woah, seems like it is a common problem then.

Inside the phone box they do provide a book on the authorized Service Centre.

I have tested one of the alternative app called Zing as recommended by one of the forumer here. And it works fine, so the problem is with the Youtube player. Now testing other features before decide to sell or not..

Ya, very good. Now the phone works better.
1 thing, without the Youtube app, cannot view videos added into favourite play list.

Yes, I guess the phone is updated to the most latest version already. My phone updated and the problem still same, very pixalated and voice comes like 1 second before the screen appears.


Tested GPS just now, lock time without data plan is less than 30 seconds. But use for about 5 minutes, the back of the phone is quite hot.

GPS looks fine to me, able to get a lock outdoor within 30 seconds without WIFI and 3G.
Waze is working fine. I just test 1 round around my kampung only. No major Waze test yet.
1 thing is the waze I tested without network connection, so nothing is loaded, only plain map. Not sure will it lag or not if traffic info loaded though. Haven't officially migrate to the new phone, so no data plan yet.

YouTube downloaded videos plays smoothly and looks HD for the phone screen.

There is a notification LED.

Miracast should be supported as I can see a wireless display function under setting but never try.

If I take my previous Lenovo P770 memory card and put it into 3C straight away, will there be any problem? Or better format first?

As for some who complained youtube lag, you can try other youtube player such as Zing, SuperTube.
