because last time when huawei launched mate in china, the RRP is RMB2688, n subsequently malaysia price is RM1699. Thus, with the same conversion, it iwll probably about RM1073

Nah dont think so as from my understanding the honor series is aim for mid range market. The pre order queue of their honor 3c had ready 1.1m+ in hua wei's vmall while I check around this noon

Basically its all sold out within minutes in all 3 batches. Honor brand currently is just similar to xiaomi which focus on online sales only. Next batch preorder will start in Feb if not mistaken

Price has been jack up to 2k yuan from non official channels.

Any news on the availability in Malaysia? I called Huawei Malaysia they just told me "No Status" and I was wondering those hotline operators know this model or not.

Honor is actually branching out from huawei to be an entire new brand, which is why there is no more huawei logo on honor 3c, but huawei logo still somehow found on 3x. From what I see, its targeted group are somewhat similar to xiaomi, which only available through online order in the mainland only. It can be get through taobao with a slight jack up price, which is bout 2k yuan

Don't think it will reach Malaysia shore as it seems not meant for international, as it not even being display during CES. Currently only available in China or through online bazar like taobao or Ali ezpress. Internal ROM is 8 gb

Mate 2 will definitely arrive here as its been released as an international phone, unlike honor which is a new brand which seems only focus in china market. Even pricing of both phone are different by quite some margin, where Mate 2 carry a much higher price tag, but in terms of hardware it doesnt had any advantages over Honor 3X, beside offering LTE, a slight larger screen and higher capacity battery build in battery. Pricing in VMall is 2688 yuan for Mate 2 and 1688 yuan for Honor 3X

You could actually get it through online store if really like it. Just buy from those reputable seller and shouldnt have much trouble. But be warned that its close to impossible to obtain the phone at default pricing as it being hike up till around 1.9k+ to 2k yuan at minimum, which around 340usd thanks to huawei reputation

internal memory too small

There's hell lot more out there with lesser ROM, as long support move to SD then shouldn't be much trouble, as it's quite a standard for phone within these price range to have 8~16gb ROM

16 g is better

That will have to depends on the manufacturer. You will usually find 16gb with octa at this kinda price range with those smaller brand

my atrix 2 8g not enough for apps, always left less than 1g

still stick with huawei, but I prefer B199

Its just a quad core phone with higher pricing due to Qualcomm soc, and larger ROM only. Besides it's a CDMA phone which mean no 3g here. Want Qualcomm snapdragon at affordable price you could check up on xiaolajiao 3s, which is 5.5 incher with fhd, 2gb ram and 16gb ROM with nfc. It's currently price at around 1.3k yuan

Just now went through Midland's distributor, he confirmed Honor 3x will be available in Msia this April @ RRP roughly about rm999.

However they will drop 3c in favour of 3x.

If its really true then its really a good news for those who intend to grab it if it really reach local shore. And as price you mentioned, the 1st phone that will get ko by it will most likely be lenovo s939 Too bad its dont have nfc

If they willing to bring in 3c, I think it will ko all lenovo low end budget smart phone with that kinda of pricing, considering its bout rm100 extra like honor 3x pricing you mentioned. (1k yuan bout rm533 + rm100)

And if honor 3x really available locally, honor x1 might able to be found locally

I for 1 will go for it, 3x market placing is seriously aggresive this time around.

X1 should make appearance in local market as well.

Honor brand is actually meant for aggressive pricing in mainland to counter xiaomi, which is why you could see its 3c is 1 yuan cheaper than hongmi

Is midland huawei phone ap or original? Well we'll wait till April to see if this good news turn out to be true or not la.

All the honor 3x available now are only with 8gb rom and no news with it upgrading to 16gb.

As for b199, its a carrier specific phone for china telecom which only cdma/gsm only, which you could see the tian yi (天翼）logo at the back cover of the phone, practically useless here with only gsm support. There wont be any support at all for GApps by default unless you root it and install GApps yourself.

There are people selling here in lelong for t100, which you don't need to order from China. And those that sold here come with stock android, which is not same as the monkey king 2 that order from China with tang dou os, so GApps is already preinstalled

From what I know, if you order from taobao, most likely it will be the China version, where if from Ali express, it will usually be the international version that come with GApps.

malaysia selling price is crazy, u can get 1800 (RMB) for internal version

Taobao is mostly cater for China users, which is why I said most phone found there are China version, even its a wcdma phone. You need to confirm with the seller on the os part when you buy through taobao, where as from Ali express you won't need to worry much on it as they are more cater for international buyers

Local pricing is at rm1.1k for the ironman is lelong, and 1.8k yuan after conversion already rm950+ minimum, which not yet include shipping cost and taobao agent service charges. So you could do the math yourself

i get one already, 1100, included one extra battery, 2 pouch and one normal cover
won get much free gift for international version ( inlcuded agent chargers, need to add another 30 right for goods to reach penang

btw T100S not support glonass

Unless you consider those so called free gift very important, then just get from taobao as by default the phone already come with a screen protector and a back case. Price is bout 300 (298 to be exact) USD included FedEx charges from Ali express from my last visit. And there a champagne gold version which I think looks nicer if you are not aware of it and no additional cost for that

Honor branding is currently solely for mainland only. Someone mentioned before that authorized unit will be brought in this month, but never has any follow up anyone till now.
