semalam i pergi PD, lepas siap mandi pantai i tukar baju di belakang pintu. disebabkan sudah gelap i bukak torch kt N5 i. i letak n5 tu dekat bonet belakang, kereta estima punya bonet belakang, dan i letak dekat dengan engsel pintu tu.
then lepas siap i lupa hp i then i close the bonet.

yes sakit hati. lagi sakit hati sekarang ni takde spare parts lagi.
maybe i will ask my friend to sent it to repair overseas, one of my friend is going to Aus this 17.
maybe i give my N5 to him and repair there. donno what it will cost.

I feel like it's a photoshop myth. Why? because no one mentioned about it after 13th December. And no NEW pictures are thr.. just those 2 famous pictures. And mostly none of use even the ones with latest stock can find that difference. If so was the case, thr should be more news :S

What I read on XDA.

'Considering several people in this thread have a phone with bigger speaker holes and tighter casing around the buttons (including my replacement which has all of these changes), it's clearly not a hoax. Why would I need to take pictures to show the miniscule differences between my old and new phone before sending my defective Nexus 5 back for RMA?

You know why I didn't? Because bigger speaker holes ARE NOT IMPORTANT. My defective phone was returned because of a faulty modem/LTE issue. I don't care that my phone has bigger speaker holes, that's such a stupid thing to focus on. If my replacement had small speaker holes but still sounded perfectly fine that's all that matters. If my replacement was a DAY 1 launch Nexus 5, but worked perfectly, I'd still be happy because if everything is working correctly, that's all that matters.

People who are RMAing or won't get the phone unless it has bigger holes are just being foolish. And, the fact that the bigger holes are not showing up on ALL phones means that it is NOT DIFFERENT hardware. They probably just tweaked a couple of variables on 1 or 2 machines to correct a problem in a batch in 1 of their MANY lines of production. If all of the rest of their manufacturing lines were operating properly, there's no need to change anything, and no need to make the holes bigger for the rest of the phones. It could be that the newer version with bigger holes is only coming from 1 of their production lines because THAT PARTICULAR line was screwing up and needed to be tweaked.

Seriously, people need to stop focusing on speaker holes like it's somehow some big deal'

One guy reported on XDA forums that his Nexus 5 survived after dropping it when cycling.

He had the Nillkin Glass SP on. It cracked at the lower part. Actual screen itself is still intact, no scratches whatsoever.

everything seems very new. Maybe because i tried to learn about rooting, ROM flashing, kernel and all. All the stuffs, acronyms, terms, and everything is new to me.

I spent hours to read the forums in XDA. But the more I read, the more I don't understand and the more new things that I encountered.

So, anyone have any suggestion where should I start? Any book to refer to, or XDA is the only recommended place to go?

My ultimate goal is to be able to understand everything that people said when they are discussing about their rooted phone. CHEERS!

I think... ummmm I don't mind sacrificing...ummm... some protection for less bulk because...ummmm because I like my Nexus 5 to be...umm slim and sexy..

p/s: Ummm I forgot something important that I...ummm might not prefer the Neo Hybrid...ummm it's due to it not having....ummm the transparent back...ummmm because I can see the NEXUS logo there

How much did it cost? I hope someone does a bulk for it soon so that we all can enjoy this case too.
