Anyone know the 40k service cost for altis 2014 1.8? Mine coming soon

Does anybody know is the chassis number located on the passanger side door panel is the VIN number or its some where else? Just wana check if my car got involved in any of the latest recalls toyota doing.

Dunno if anyone has this problem.

My car I usually off air con when I turn engine off.

So what happens is when I start my engine and then my air con on, the fan will blow hot air and I have to manually on and off the air con by pressing a/c and then it'll be normal again.

Alternatively I can press auto and then it'll be normal too.

Will probably mention this at my first service. Going to be this week.

Seems like the knocking sound when moving from stationery is normal then.. Just like bro cedy's camry drive shaft..

EDIT : i remember the showroom test drive unit was also like this when i tested it with the SA before i booked my car, started car, air con not cold and blowing hot air, SA thought air con spoilt, he played with the settings and voila it came back. wondering if this is normal?

actually... how to use the auto mode?

if i put on auto mode i notice the fan blows extremely quick as though its gonna explode.

if i put on auto mode do i need to turn it off manually when i switch my engine off?

altis aircond auto mode doesn't control temperature. controls fan speed only. at max 28 setting, it can be freezing cold. on highways i've to turn it off now and then

Hi guys i need to ask this toyota service center like threatening that if i do alignment and wheel balancing outside cannot claim suspension leak and other suspension arm related problems? Is it true? Alignment balancing cannot do outside meh?

Yep...after they service the belt they say the sound will be minor. Sound still the same after I drove it back.
I did asked will it fixed if I request to change the belt, but they can't guarantee.
I told them "So the problem still there?" They just smile. 

Need to change SC now, which place you recommend?

Or any car sifus know the cause of the sound?
When in gear + low RPM + brake, will have this whistling sound, like vacuum leak.
Sometimes at quiet neighborhood, I still can heard the sound (window opened) when slowing down.

so I cant really gv u an actual answer.
but you can actually download the maintenance packages from toyota malaysia website. so far the prices I was billed are the same as per d published maintenance packages fm d website.

altiis is a gd car. but mine is d facelift version.
so far I dont hv any problem w d car except its so quiet inside that I can hear d timing belt.
gonna send it for checks on whether there is any problem w d timing belt.
