Hi guys 1st day update: Rattling noises from the seat belt pillar i think.. Anyone else with this issue? Wait till 1k service to rectify?

Just for sharing. Installed this USB port in my Altis today morning. Fits perfectly in the empty slot and looks great.

That's the car voltage display. The range should be between 12 and 24. Fixed it for RM110 with installation. Done in 10 mins at a Toyota Altis club member's shop in Puchong. He also has a similar dual usb port without voltage display. Same price.
Aux port is already in the player.

If u send outside..they will blame u din maintain yur car wid toyota..who knows what the outside foreman did.

My altis also facing dashboard rattling noise, i tried dismantle the dash trim and meter panel myself still unable to solve the problem. In the end it was due to the defrost vent at the windscreen making rattling noise, so i use black cable tie to insert (cucuk) into the place between the vent and the dashboard and the rattling noise went away 100%. And my middle driver side air cond vent making rattling noise also, i use a small sponge (black in color) and knead it into small size and put in between 2 vertical fin, problem solved.

what is your car variant? 1.8 or 2.0V?

for the rattling sound, request sc to change whole new cover lo like i did... no need  soundproof the rattling noise will gone

did u experience low speed jerking? somewhere between 20-40km/h jerking?

did u experience engine whistling noise during startup from 0-20/30km/h?

30k service at Toyota SC Puchong need RM750!!!! danm!!!!!!
1.fully oil
2.Tyre service
3. Air Cond service - RM280 <--- the SA tell me need to do it every 30K.

If I can get better price then will think of it haha but 18k loss a bit too much....

My car almost enter SC weekly or once every 2 weeks to fix below issues, currently almost 90% done except those design issue:
- Rattling sound on dashboard, doors, backseat lock etc, currently only can fix 90% and still happen once a while.
- A/C temp cant regulate (forever cold), the auto temp only work as fan speed controller and was told the design is like that. Even old Kancil can regulate A/C temp hahaha
- Leather seat full of wringkles after 1 mth, certain part almost damage while front seat back support awaiting for warranty claim.
- Smart Key Power Steering if lock manually then will cause the motor jam and fail to auto unlock.
- Alarm still activate if open door too fast and was told cause by ECU sensitive after install the pedal lock due to OEM Y split cable tends to induce instable current eventhough sound like excuses.
- Front passenger seat bottom adjustable bracket black cap damage after 1 mth and replace by warranty claim.
- Extremely thin body paint, minor dot chipping can be seen after 1 mth even with full body coating.
- Loud noise from tyre rolling, pass by vehicle etc.

Of cause the car do serve well for below items:
- Sporty look with Aero Kits.
- Spacious back seat with good legroom.
- Well petrol consumption for 2.0L, manage to hit ~530km with R95 for 50/50 city/hw driving while some user can even hit 600km.
- Quite stable handling and nice driving if you dont mind on noise.
- Door close sound solid and easy to fully close up with minor strength.

Maybe I am very particular and sensitive on noise but some user might able to bare with it. Eventhough 90% can be fix but still cant accept ~RM130k CBU car can be such poor quality and design issues.

Okla the tyre not that expensive lah, michelin ps4 around rm410 but i changed to yokohama v701 rm290/donut..good enough..not like we can do spirited driving with the engine

215. to me not much difference in terms of grip between ps3 and fleva. less tyre noise also. but i'm not the kind who corner at 140 - 160 at highway, tried genting up and down, so far grip i think is ps3 level.
