yes it seems like troll to me but which proton current car is the best proton car in the world in your opinion.Since iriz is not as good as suprima s,preve turbo and exora bold mc2 cps and cfe. Then what proton car do you recommend me to buy?

there are many conti b-segments too that are better than iriz/myvi yet they do not sell well. just saying.
they are cars of different segment/types/price range.

Iriz fail coz Exora more space.
Exora fail coz handling not as good as Suprima S (MPV can't handle better than a hatch/sedan).
Suprima fail coz Preve got more boot space.
Preve fail coz not easy to park like Iriz.

I think the Latio would be a good choice for your needs.
For your budget you should be able to find one like this example it is about 5 years old and under budget. The money saved should be looked at funds you may need to use for repairs if anything happens. Usually when buying cars older than 3 years remember lower arms and absorbers are the first to go. Check thoroughly before buying if you think they should replace these things before selling to you, make sure they do it and give you a warranty and receipt.

2012 Proton Inspira 2.0 - is also a good choice as it is part by part compatible with mitsubishi lancer (usually more expensive or older in used car market so better just get inspira same thing better value) so you're not locked in to proton's spare parts price control (if that ever happens, currently not really but for preve/suprima owners they don't have a choice if it happens in the future) as you can buy mitsubishi lancer parts or any OEM/compatible parts there are lots of it since lancer is a global car there are factories making oem/compatible parts all over the world. Safety/performance is as good as a lancer, oh it has paddle shifters too. I think it is a good choice as it is much better looking and slightly more spacious than Latio.

depending on the marketing and engineering angle it is biased towards certain market segments eventhough it is a mass market product. even for top cars like Vios and City there is a gao between them.
Vios would be chosen by those that aim for cheaper car (j-spec), proven reliability (3 generations same engine/gearbox) and good resale value. While City is for those that value safety (one of the few in this segment VSA/traction control), new technology (every new model uses almost all new parts), etc. while knowing it is going to be more expensive.

Kelisa is good, handling wise is also quite stable, but the problem is getting a good condition one, knowing that its quite old already, at least 10 years.

whereby Viva Elite is quite young, you can easily find a good one.
But handling wise, it cant beat kelisa, IMHO.

perdana is expensive so yes suprima s and exora bold mc2 and preve turbo and iriz mt are among the good cars of proton. preve is even better than the new perdana

yes, has all that on the stuff on the top spec model..... and technically not really exp, remember d-segment.... dont bulk all cars into the same category a 3/5 series does not cost the same as an S class, dif segment

dont believe everything you read, unless you see it for yourself and you can confirm its new, if its a car in a shop, i would doubt them even further....

1. Ford has the 3 year / 100k warranty, so for 2012 means the vehicle has been serviced regularly till 2015/2016.
- maybe, maybe not... that gearbox is something that can randomly fail.... check how much the clutchpack costs before you get all hyped up, that probably has not been changed yet
2. Found the UK owner manual online, seems the major service is at 100k-120k km. Not sure if it's the same for M'sia version but I probably won't keep it that long.
- things do go bad even before those mileages are hit, dont expect everything to go as planned
3. Safety and spec wise better than any local car I can get at RM50k
- no.... stuff like the iris, preve probably have as much toys... at the cost of wearing the harimau badge

After test drive & research among, Altis, Slyphy, Camry and some small model...
I am thinking Camry is the best choice to me in terms of value, comfort, look and long lasting...

BTW we are now looking @ same car at same area  

The price is almost there...
Usually I will look into those general price 2nd hand car. Cheaper than average will be a doubt to me
