if you do have a close relationship with a SC adviser or Honda SC manager.. they might can kawteam with you for a 7k interval instead of a 5k interval.. it depends on how much a sweet talker you are.. haha

I think the stock absorbers, if we didn't take good care of it, keep flying thru bumpers, i think it will easily get soft..
*
I don't think we can fly thru bumps with this car lol, the car itself is already low, flying thru it confirm hit / scratch the bottom of the bumper or bodykit installed lol

I think it seems low cause of the overall height, cause the specs say its 150mm from ground which is pretty standard.

How to improve the stability when cornering without lower this gap from ground? Get tighter absorber/spring?

Adjustables or get a whole set of racing bars. Spring with least drop is only 0.8" drop.

are you using fully sync / semi / or mineral oil?

it all plays effect.. in your case car feels slightly heavy might be due to tire pressure as well (looking frm another perspective)..

yup I notice tire pressure of this car also become less every week. n when the tire pressure is not enough yes the car feels heavy. so I inflated the tyre every Wednesday...still the car felt heavy. so I checked everything to ensure im not missing anything so at the end after the service at Honda and this time I bring my own oil and to my expectation the car feels normal again. this is my 3rd service. my first and 2nd service I've always keep asking why the car felt heavy after service...now I know. of course buying new car must use Honda oil. but if it gives me really bad performance why should I continue? so I have no choice to ignored the SC warning not to bring own oil.
whats important is the enjoyment of riding a CRZ. CRZ is not a normal hybrid car like prius or civic hybrid...its a sport hybrid[I]. so it means performance. how fast the car goes it really matters. if Honda claims have torque of 190 Nm, the car must get that figure or close to that figure...
anyway, this is my opinion...others maybe different...

using your own oil might have problems with warranty should u need to claim it, is what they said. since u are using own oil might as well service outside, much cheaper. anyway since we service every 5k, thinking of using semi-sync instead of their 0-20w.

I also heard from their staffs saying many customer complained their car felt heavy after went 3000km....meaning Honda oil is not that good. also many engine oil now already API SN. Honda oil still SM. this rating always change after 2-3 yrs from what I heard...after this maybe API change to SP example...then I check with idemitsu 0w20 fully sync they say the price is rm2XX. Honda oil = idemitsu. but Honda oil with same rating only price rm1xx. why so cheap?that Honda oil is fully sync also....

then the SC once offered me if I don't want the fully 0w20 can have other Honda oils like 10w30, etc..what???? they should know for CRZ only rating w20. if 30 or 40 that will make car slightly more heavy...

I've have known Honda technology and their engine really sensitive to weight issues...u can feel the difference...like turbo cars or continental cars you won't feel the diff....rarely...but with Honda you can...for example after washed the car, inflate correct tire pressure, less unwanted baggage, do all this u can feel the car has power.

but some people say for CRZ the loss power, IMA motor can compensate that...yes, but if you take consideration of all the above the CRZ actually is really2 a fast car. if you drive it correctly and patiently car can achieve good mileage...depend on the road traffic condition of course..

so guys...CRZ is a special car...it want us to treat it as a fast car & fuel saver car so for us as owners need to care it as the "special one".

fyi, I installed the obd2 Bluetooth and install torque pro apps for android hp...so with this tool I can monitor whats going on with the car's engine...really helpful...

So its either you treat it better by using your own oil but voiding warranty or keep the warranty but use their oil. The 1st option is more expensive though if anything were to happen to the car and u cant claim warranty and outside full sync is rm200+

but SC in SK mention that to get letter saying that warranty engine is bare by owner and other else is under warranty from Honda can get that at Honda HQ. bcoz I heard some Honda owner did this. so I will get that letter. will not wait until something happened. sure I will be in deep trouble. all I want especially battery hybrid warranty.

To improve the handling of the CRZ, may add lower springs, sports absorbers or go for adjustable suspension smile.gif
