Hey bro its me. You might wan to check your battery connectors. I face this also before 1k service. Weeks later I cant even start my car on a morning. Check on the battery the connector I can just unplug with bare hands. Tighten it and then its fine afterwards till now. I asked the SC to double check the battery too when 1k service and battery is fine.

Hi guys. Burnt smell at some times while using the S+ button or right after using it is normal right (due to battery charging/discharging???)? Happened to me twice...just got the car yesterday.

I think I read about this issue somewhere but can't remember. BTW, the smell is definitely not from the air cond.
*
yup. hot battery.

for my case I own a Hyundai elantra..I commute from cheras to shah alam...monthly fuel for the car is rm500. its way of my budget...so I sell the car buy crz monthly used for rm250....yeah if u chose prius I will save more...but where is the fun of driving? for me to commute every day 100km....totally boring if to drive a normal car...need something to play around...
*
got save so much meh?

compared to my neo auto, which i pump about 5-6 tanks per month, crz only pump about 4 tanks so i only save about 1-2 tanks per month... hmm.gif

Resulting in difficulty to find spare parts + price hike of parts...
*
model is still supported by Honda Malaysia and I guess don't have to worry as long as warranty is still there. Even if there's no more warranty the crz is not THAT rare in Malaysia. Should still be ok.

QUOTE(metaloid @ Feb 7 2014, 08:42 AM)
166k-170k with tax expected, i thought it would be near 200k at first cause lots of cars tax 100% or more.
*
I think this is because the actual car price is actually quite low. Part of the 119k otr price before this goes to AP (30k+) if not mistaken. So if tax based on car price alone it makes sense at 160k+

sometimes civic FD on the road is hard to differentiate normal 2.0 and type-r sweat.gif
*
if you ter-kacau a type-r then it's your own fault laugh.gif

but usually can tell by the brakes and also how the car bobs up and down on the road cause the type-r suspension is stiff. if a normal fd goes on and mods the calipers and put adjustable then i dont know how to differentiate lol

your old neo, stock form ker?  hmm.gif  cause i thought the crz is better than my 1.3 neo(braking system is the same for both 1.6 and 1.3 right). experienced once where the brakes did not respond at all while going downhill @genting.

crz original brakes are from Nisin btw.  brows.gif
*
forgot to mention my neo changed brake pads. laugh.gif

was using rapidstop 800c front 550c rear with front slotted rotor from TRW.

wow...that design is the best I've seen...compare to simota...but since it was imported the price is so expensive...with that price can get touch screen multimedia unit...

CAI got use ke?

It's widespread that there is no difference and if any difference also it's minor improvement on turbo setup.

11k? I only get 10k disc
waiting for car to be approved by the custom
*
bro all crz in Malaysia now is floorstock. Meaning already clear custom. Unless you getting 160k 2014 model laugh.gif

QUOTE(Nitrous @ Feb 19 2014, 01:55 PM)
Don't think it will be assembled here, CRZ is not a volume seller which explains why until today there are still old stock available. They can't recuperate the CKD costs if they assemble it in Malaysia, hence CKD cars are always a volume seller.

so insight? unsure.gif

tire repair kits are universal. you can get it in some of the petrol stations.

something like this.
thought of getting this to replace my spare tires, but over the past few months i got two punctures, one blew when i was doing 160+-  sweat.gif ... better stick to the spare tires
*
The tyre repair silicone is universal for all tyres.

The question is whether the inflator can be used with aftermarket rims

user posted image

that blue thing with the dials. Was told by SA that the thing is plugged into the 12v socket to inflate tyres so suspect it can't be used with modded rims hmm.gif
