It is a Normal "phenomena" environment, as year 2013 had a good run, with more than 52 record breakers
in a year..DJIA gained almost 30% .. IMHO, 7-12% correction will be usual healthy mode but it won't happen
as 1) FED continue keep interest rates new ZERO, 2) expected good results release of economic data
(new home sales + consumer confidence) and 3) earning reports from AAPL, Google, FB, AT&T,
3M,CaterPillar,Pfizer ..etc next week.BUT, most importantly,4) last meeting that Uncle Ben going to chair with
non-promising / sluggish China economic data.

If you are a investor whom bought the stocks in year 2009-2012, your net worths have been
appreciated steady with yr base capital already returned thru dividends. Be patience, Wait for VIX > 25-28 pts and monitor closely with yr reserve cash ready to bargain some opportunity.
For investors like you, going to bed as usual, and you no need to WAKE UP to see the trading.. Can sleep well?
Usually, get stocks at bargain price and continue your Holding Power/Test yr Patience..

Year 2013 = DJIA up almost 30% .. So far, correction Year to Date = ( - 4.21% )
But, US Dollar at 4 years high against MYR at 3.345 , as USA economy is getting better with more
tapering in QE.. HK Stocks got whacked !! but P/E and financial ratios = still unattractive / overvalue ..
Perhaps, is P/E ratio below industry average PE is called as 'Intrinsic Value' ?

LVS is going to announce Q4 2013 and whole year 2013 earnings on 29th Jan(USA Time).
Expects qrtrly dividend of 50 cents in year 2014.. But, Not sure abt special dividend ,
as LVS may use present good cashflow for expansion in potential countries like JPN, S.Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan ..etc
should it got legalize gaming license.

Sister company, Sands Chn (1928.HK) announced interim dividend and special dividend recently.

Dividend stocks in US X Currency Exchg Rate = local currency ?
Better yield ? If the stocks in US appreciates by a dollar, hence
1 dollar X currency Exchg Rate = local currency , Higher ROI in long term?
Similar to stocks in US depreciates need to multiple with currency exchg too..

DJIA Year to Date = ( - 5.05% ) , S n P 500 Year to Date = ( -4.01 )
and Nasdaq Year to Date = ( - 3% ) . VIX = 17.35 ( slightly bullish, not in fear mode index)

Get ready yr Ang Pow (Lai See) 1st.. IMHO, not yet reach bargain 40-50% discount per 2013 high..

With the reasonable inflation, near zero interest rate(no OPR hike) and continuation of QE till Q1/Q2 2015,
I believed the bull market will remain in the lead with consumer confidence/housing/employment/construction/
manufacturing/purchasing/GDP/jobless claims ..etc indicators getting better and better.. For me,
any discount above 7% in stock price will be a good bargain hunting .. CLSA Feng Shui 2014

CEILING BILL that will last till 15th March 2015..
Expected the bill to be approved in Democratic-party controlled Senate and White House..

Debt Ceiling Limit issue is off the table till March 2015, as the new legislation came in force.
IMHO Add more portfolios should there be any good discount and QE will be continue till Q2 2015.
Near zero interest rate will be continued for long period... Monday market is off for President's day.

Check out LVS, WYNN and MGM whom reaches 52 weeks price high today.. Japan Casino License in Spring ??

As long as the near-zero interest rate still in place, cash will still place in equity .. Inflation + growth were

gradually better (no surprise ), and hardly FED will hike OPR in short-medium term to curb inflation..

Let see how this issue will be escalated, with Putin want to show the world what he did to Georgia last time..
Expects market will reacts negatively, but let see closely how the market will behave.
Perhaps, it is a good bargain hunting opportunity ?

DJIA/ Nasdaq / SnP red, but AAPL green, ISM Manufacturing Reading is good,
while LVS price is in 52 weeks high.

STRONG energetic BULL ?? Bull Market is in 4th Inning
Stock Rallying 15% if GDP reaches 3% ??

Take a look on LYG and NBG if you like CitiBank ..

Hike interest rate gradually from near zero to 2 percent in 2 years ?
Expects be a short Term correction when hike interest rate next year..

Do you know why FED want to hike interest rate?
Becos the economy is getting better and better, right ?
Keep the present portfolios and reserve some cash to grab attractive counter
later on .. Perhaps, small and medium capital size counter, as the ROI is good
in term of percentage when compared to bull chip counters..

FED's stress test on 30 banks were GOOD and will announce on 26th March whether 1) to allow banks to
pay higher dividends or 2) allow banks to buy back it own shares..
BAC in 52 weeks high.. C is moving higher.. NBG swing to profit in year 2013 with profit of 809M Euro ..
LYG = 2nd half 2014 ?

For investors, seem like the bull is still taking the lead.. However, Crimea, Syria/Turkey matters may
push the bear to be stronger again.. Perhaps, you should open trading account in Trade King 1st,
Or try open account in local CIMB or RHB before post yr question here..

Bull is strong and long-lasting.. Patiently wait for bear to come again in coming months
and top up more portfolios .. Perhaps, during in Summer FIFA Football World Cup 2014 in Brazil ?

Fed will make announcement on Wednesday on which banks' plans to pay dividends and/or repurchase stock.
