Trading is going to choppy during these time.

1725 would be the initial target but not guarantee (daily)

On the (40) weekly, 1700 would be the support (the big funds will step in and buy here).
We're still at around 5% correction only.

If you're holding long stocks higher than here, just hold 'em or
sell your covered calls to reduce your average price..

nah. no money to lose. so dangerous better wait a bit while holding my breathe ...heh heh

as far as i know the sarbanes oxley act applies to all plc in the US disregards to the country of origin. when it was first enacted many analysts claimed that it discouraged ipos as evident in the reducing number of new ipos in the US and growing number in europe.. i cant remember the year but there were data to substantiate the claim.
imho...ho only la, these investors (pls) will flock back to our beloved uncle sam venue as itnis the largest ' land of opportunity'

i remember now...after the enron corp scandal rhen the satyam case the sox was made more stringent...

yes, the debt ceiling seems to be raised unconditionally !!! AWESOME !!!

from the internet : -

Like her predecessor, Ms. Yellen indicated the Fed plans to remain data dependent in its decision making and that measured tapering will continue unless economic data takes a turn for the worse. When asked about the impact of the disappointing jobs reports for December and January on the Fed's reaction function, Ms. Yellen said it would be premature to alter policy based on a limited sample size.

In other news from Washington, all signs pointed to the House of Representatives being ready to pass an unconditional bill to raise the debt ceiling, which likely contributed to the market's sunny disposition

As Dan said ... buy buy buy? dare not wor .... wait a bit la.

It could be... not shorting yet. The trend is still up but the market may come up with horror stories overnight.  brows.gif

i agree. those people are trying ways to orchestrate some midnight horrors to scalp dows, by highlighting rates and qe policies (and ignore the goodies). looks like days of negativities ahead.

If I am Zuckerberg, I not sure I would want to buy if FB already has something similar. But, he maybe seeing something that we mortals could not.

$19bln is a lot of premium to pay.. but luckily majority of them are just stocks exchanges.

If things didn't pan out (regulatory wise - they still have to convince DOJ this isn't a monopoly tactic), WhatApps still get a $1bln in cash. Still a win-win deal for Whatapps.

maybe its zuckerberg young age who seeks market awareness and greater transparency at the start. and hopefully there is tech and marketing synergy? a case of market penetration follows by market development?
i think so only la
