QUOTE(jeisern @ Feb 16 2014, 10:06 PM) Ooo so long tak pop in so many posts.... aiyak didn't notice you summon me.. how was ur ocbc time?wtm0325 I was also at ocbc 2014 I was riding a fat bike Anyways with the VS I get abt 438 to 450 km full tank. I am taking a plunge and install the Shadow AT Controller to test the fuel economy modes Wish me luck...... VS i think not much difference, more like sendiri syok sendiri.. i also got VS and ground cable, not much difference also.. dun spend money on those controller save petrol, if they really save money, the engineer already implemented it long ago into alza |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Mar 19 2014, 01:55 PM) Drives much better... less steering vibration, less overall vibration, less engine noise... cruising on highway is like gliding on ice... Still early to tell if there's gonna be rattling issues as some reported... well, CKD quality I supposed... is time to tutup this thread liao Stock NVH is better than Alza, though I might need to address some external traffic noise... Fuel efficiency better than Alza no doubt... Only downside is the interior space is not as big as Alza, but that's something I'm willing to trade off... |

QUOTE(n8210 @ Jun 20 2014, 03:37 PM) They already have an authorized distributor but maybe the msia counterpart do bad job on promoting it locally... or they just hold on to it, and never push it. I have never heard of nankang until was recommended by the shop. Who would think taiwan produces their own tyres? I would imagine we, msia, thai, indon, china, vietnam, etc... makes the most tyres around the world. I am using Winda tyre on ma wife civic 2.0 17"much better than malaysia made stupid enry level dunlop/silverstone in terms of comfort and grip damn cheap oso RM220/pcs... if michelin 17" will cost RM400+/pcs no complain so far, just dun drive like sohai when raining.. wat tyre oso GG just view, touch, feel the tyre before giving it a go, dun trust so much on seller words |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Nov 27 2014, 04:37 PM) That also depends on whether you can reproduce the problem or not... i ledi changed to innova... alza jadi my dispatch punya toy nowMy problem may not be the same as yours, but I highlighted it to Rawang SC... They took a day to trace the problem but failed... That was the last straw for me since it was just days from warranty expiry, in the end sold off the problematic car... innova everything gooding except minyak kuat, 6-10km/litre, and slow pickup |

QUOTE(singk @ Mar 11 2015, 01:02 AM) guess old batch of alza gearbox tend to have some small issues like jerking. finger crossed the FL model will no longer have the issue since they changed the gearbox, not sure about gear ratio but one main different is the gearbox takes in more ATF 2.83l (new) vs 2.2 (old). mind to elaborate more on this? any big difference old vs new gearbox? And do remember use D3-SP ATF, don't simply believe those mechanic telling you to slam in toyota type-IV ATF since your engine is toyota engine bla bla bla.... it will kill your gearbox easily. |
