correct me if i am wrong:
many shops are telling me buy before GST.. but to my understanding, import tyres : current import tax & sales tax come Apr 1st : it is import tax & GST, and the shops try to confuse us like it is import tax + sales tax + GST = this will incur major price hikes, but this is not the situation. GST is merely a replacement of sales tax. It isn't an ADDITIONAL tax on top of import tax and sales tax. Come Apr 1st, there is no more sales tax, but GST. Right? In addition, sales tax & GST are very close..most may differ by 1%. Cannot be (just an example) currently sales tax for tyres are 3% and later GST is 6%, a jump of 3%. That would instantly kill our economy. So (if there is a jump, increase in % tax), it is not a lot..most by 1%. Right? This post has been edited by n8210: Feb 9 2015, 07:24 PM |

There's a reason why Miao and I said Alza feels like wanna runtuh or disintegrate whenever the car whacks on uneven roads... MyVi rides better in this case... |

tonnes of minor scratches but apart from battery getting weak fast, nothing serious. lucky me.. although the sound (not) proof thing is never solved.. thinking abt double tinting now.

problem... after rinse and dry my air filter, and saw these shocking holes.. how did they appear? no one poke brush abuse throw drop spray etc... haiyo!! now what?

that i hv no records.. i know roughly 4 months cos i wash once in Jan, then Feb i clean the whole car interior all cos of CNY. but i dont know the mileage.

1) clean engine compartment, with toothbrush, went petronas at midnight and spray it with air, use cloth wipe all the places i can for few hours, slowly bit by bit.. apply oil to certain nuts, "lotion" some of the plastic parts, etc...
2) took cushion out and clean them all round, remove floor carpet and wow... lots of weird stuff and insects underneath carpet... like a small dump site for insects,... vacuum wipe brush shampoo.... takes forever and it ain't always sunny early of the year. at the end of the day, i vow never to do it again.. i ain't professional and only one man show. should hv just chill and find something else to do.. don't try it at home !!! |
