Question about the MYVI.

I am going to change my car already from CRV to new MYVI SE 1.3
I bought JBL P660C component set. It's 6.5" for the front and back totally cut off the wire already.
Amplifier is some cap ayam amp with 4 channel, somehow bought it around 800+ more or less powering up the sub woofer and the JBL sets.

Right now, with the new car. Front only can support 4" the dashboard there and the rear is about 6.5" inch of course.
Since i'm the one driving the car, I plan to install 6.5" infront then 6.5 at the rear one as well Probably.
Since 6.5 will drive a better one than 4" right?.

Still, if like this kind of setup, it will use up 4 channels which amp won't be able to power up the sub won't it?..
Somehow, I need some advise. Do I need to get a new amp just for the sub itself?
And How do i fit those 6.5 infront thanks! Hope to get response soon.

Next question is about the HeadUnit, I plan to use stock head unit first, If i change the head unit will I get any performance improved? Or will it work much better?
Because I'm taking 1.3 which it comes only the normal HU, rather than the Touch Screen. Probably in the future I will upgrade to the touch screen one for my car. What do you guys advise and suggest?
Thanks! rclxub.gif

Yes.... 6.5 will give u better impact ..... n sound better than u stock speaker

yes... u need separate amp to power up the sub
if u still insist to use 4 channel amp to power up the sub and the component... u need to sacrifice the rear speaker
FYI.....u component required 2 channel from u amp n the remaining channel can be use to power up the sub..... yet.. u still need preamp or electronic crossover to connected all u driver and sub because oem hu only possess single preout...

im not suggest u to fit 6.5 driver inside u dashboard.... it will require major modification and for sure will void u car warranty... do u ever consider to install the midbass on door panel?... but it also need small modification on u door panel to fit those JBL... u can refer tis thread.. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2357486/all

of course with a better hu... u will have better control on u system and significantly will perform better than stock hu....

IMHO......plan u system first.... do homework.... ask experienced person and fixed u budget so tat u don overspend on things u don need...
car audio very poisoning..... so be careful..... hehehe...

Happy Ice-ing
