QUOTE(SGSuser @ Dec 7 2013, 11:21 PM) completely agree It's also pathetic when ppl post nothing except sarcasm...the summer transfer window was a complete catastrophe imo...long cut short, as soon as the transfer window ended i was already looking forward to january hoping more midfield and even defensive reinforcements...always had that tiny hope of clev or ando finally coming out of their shell but too bad they dont... on another sidenote its kinda pathetic to see some ppl here oni knw channel their frustration on moyes against the others who chose to heed saf's words at the end of last season, keep being grumpy guys |

QUOTE(nestlebliss @ Dec 7 2013, 11:19 PM) really? gosh, that'll be disastrous. Not like our players are having high morale at the moment.I agree, last time whenever we are trailing, even till the 90th minute I'm still holding my breath for wonders, and we deliver. now, when I saw 1-0 a 67", I'm like, oh gosh, we're screwed. draw or lose, either one, both are bad enough at the moment. I doubt we'll get CL place this season, and that'll screw a lot of people over. And to be fair, it's not right given the team left behind. Stand behind the manager? yes gladly to do so, but please realize there are things to do. Right now things are crumbling. last thing we need is us digging into our banks for some mediocre players during jan transfer.... unless some wonder kid wants to join for some odd reasons given our status now. =/ things are bleak. |

the arrogant move to dismiss all key personal in the backroom staff of last season is haunting Moyes back now.
its better to have Phil Neville than Rene Meulensteen? SAF surely does not leave his successor hanging. There must be transfer targets that he identified and recommended.. but Moyes decided to chase the one who doesnt want to come, Fabregas all summer and signed Fellaini on the last day on the cockiness part, yes a bit like SAF. on footballing part, hell no. |

QUOTE(sheng @ Dec 7 2013, 10:39 PM) You mean first season in BPL? Or first season in MU?Pellegrini first season in BPL...but where are they now? What kind of results are they producing as compare to moyes, 11 or more years in English PL? Though I respect SAF that we must berdiri tegang behind Moyes, I do. But we must be realistic sometimes. With this kind of game performance and his bad decisions, and with his dunno how many years in EPL....how? |

Juz another shitty performance from Man Utd.
Have to agree that what we have now is an average team. The different is, the manager. Juz hope that this january transfer will bring us some luck. No another disaster. |

QUOTE(franco87 @ Dec 7 2013, 10:48 PM) Remember, Ferguson also facing the same moment as Moyes back in 1989, and he bounce back to create United and himself as one of the best manager and club in football history. Support United whatever happens. Yes I remember. But do you remember that when Ferguson took over the club, MU was just an average team. What the hell is MU anyway at that time? Now, Moyes took over a champion club. |

QUOTE(king_eric @ Dec 7 2013, 10:51 PM) its just wrong to go with jones and cleverly. no creativity at all. Jones is OK at that position. We need someone to be the bulldozer over there.miss scholes & fletcher. btw, what is cantona doing right now? is he busy? but cleverly? Everytime when he gets the ball, the will only start to think "hmmm, now...where should I pass the ball to? hmmmmm" By the time he made up his mind, newcastle players will closed down on him. Then he will "hmmmm...newcastle players are surrounding me now. OK OK, i'll back pass". Can you see the difference when Anderson came in? |

QUOTE(sunblaze @ Dec 7 2013, 11:12 PM) To a degree. SAF worked his magic to drag this team to the title last season, but honestly speaking even then it has been well known that the team is weak in some areas. See our results in Europe the last 2 years? We have had stronger teams than this, for sure. That why I commented here early if we take out De Gea, Rooney, RVP, Carrick, Evra and probably Rafael, we just an above average team. What make them an average team to become champion team is due to Ferguson and backroom staff hardwork. I don't blame transfer window, but instead I blame sudden change of backroom staff. Steve Round over Mike Phelan and Phil Neville over Rene Meulensteen?? Not disrespectful to them, but as far I can see, they not up to our standard as backroom staff. As you can see, after we down 1-0 or even 0-0, we can't come out with an alternative plan, the players still not motivated. I'm glad if they can just prove me wrong. Part of the problem is fans keep on harping about this being a title winning squad, but they don't add on that SAF was what made the squad tick. Look at the squad, how many of them can you say are the best in their position in the entire league, let alone one of the best in Europe? De Gea, RvP, Rooney are probably the obvious ones that spring to mind immediately. You might be able to argue for Carrick and Rafael too. After that? SAF really worked his magic on the team to make it better than the sum of its parts, but now he is retired (and don't forget Scholes also retired). You want to say DM isn't doing what SAF did? Definitely, agreed. SAF is a legend in the modern game for a reason. Not even half the season gone after the biggest change the club has had in 27 years, and people are already reacting so harshly... I can understand being damn unhappy with the results, I'm angry too.. but hating on the manager so quickly.. sigh. Assume you get your wish and he is sacked, who would even replace him? And even if your dream manager was to come in, do you think a new manager wouldn't need time to settle in? Transitional season is going to be brutal on everyone. Just hope our squad has better luck with injuries, that January brings good reinforcements, and that DM and his team learns fast. Now we will see the true color of the Glazer family. Will they as patience/supportive as Arsenal owner,or just another Russian/Arab owner? I will still support Moyes as long as he still manage Man United. If he really did get sack, I hope our next manager will be our baby assassin, Solskjær. This post has been edited by beck_ken: Dec 7 2013, 11:36 PM |

QUOTE(exquisite_markas @ Dec 7 2013, 10:56 PM) You sure you got it right? In 1989, it wasn't about the manager, it was about a weak team. In 2013, do you think Moyes has a weak team? look at his nick - franco87 . I think the "87" must be the year of his DOB, 1987. and in 1989, he's only 2 years old. Forgive him. |

1st thing we need to do in January transfer is to find a world class midfielder. We need to add some creativity in the midfield.
