afaik if its a standalone pc, u have to install a dialler which come with the modem...the last i can recall is WinPoet
 ,if its a network pc,then all r done with the router |

u using modem or router modem, if router modem just configure all setting inside the router

Same like WinXP ... DNS1, DNS2 and IP ... Just make sure configure ure modem 1st ... im not sure ure modem uses 192.168.1.1 , 192.168.0.1 ot 10.1.1.1 ...
