hi PcWork,
Like to know if i can use your cable to connect: 1) home use DVD player to Amplifier to TV? Use it as Component Video Cable (normally labeled by 3 different colors - red, blue and green) 2) home use Amplifier to active subwoofer? (single cable) 3) home use Amplifier to satellite speaker?
p/s: Any Sifu who knows Home Theater system can give advice too.
Thanks!!

Hi PcWork,
I need the cable below, may I have your quotation based on your minimum required length for each? a) 1set of Component Video Interconnect b) 1set of Digital Coaxial Interconnect c) 1set of Subwoofer Cable
I am still new in HiFi, what type of cable should be used or suitable for the above application? I read from Canare website, L-4E6S is more for microphones/ PA system. Would you be able to get other type of Canare cable? eg. For Component Video: V3-3C; For Digital Coaxial/ Subwoofer: L-5CFB/ LV-61S/ LV-77S
By the way, 1) are all those plug crimp-on type or solder type? 2) what is the ideal length for coaxial cable to perform without distortion? 3) what is the name of the Extreme RCA-RCA cable used? Suitable to use on what application? How's the performance compared to Canare?
Many Thanks!!!!

PcWork, thanks for sharing.. I take your advise n skip the component.
Like to know: 1) What type of coaxial cable (is there any difference between GS-6 and LV-77s) is suitable for CDP to AMP and AMP to Subwoofer? 2) Can i replace coaxial cable with Extreme RCA-RCA cable for the above usage? 3) Is it suitable to use Extreme cable as speaker cable?
Thanks again!!

QUOTE(ijan @ Jun 13 2007, 07:12 PM) GS6 is not coaxial, coax is strictly single core copper shiledid with insulators and then shieldings. Meant for digital transport, factory set to 75ohm set impedance per certain length to universalize matters of electronics. Meant for digital transfer at super high speed at megahertz frequency since its better that way for digital (the reason as to this is very complicated..thus left out ). Even CANARE own side said GS6 is guitar cable and guitar aint digital. For TECH-Freaks, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaxial_cableHi PcWork, No sure if you have updated the info on the difference of Canare coaxial (GS-6/ LV-77s) because can't find it in your posts. cheer.
