QUOTE(LinTao @ Jan 2 2014, 12:27 PM) yeah I was studying in Europe too, a lot of walking around right? after my experience in Europe, I too decided to change system haha (not the whole reason la but one of the contributing factors). for dinners + gatherings for sure this camera will be perfect. lowlight and night scene a bit difficult as I found out the other day..I've only tried with EVF la actually, never tried with the OVF yet but since XE2 only has EVF, I think you will face some problems with the focus in low light even with the AF assist light.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « well.. yea.. a lot of walking especially around rome and florence.. leg and shoulder pain.. zzz.. X-E2 or X-M1 which is the prefer choice though ? heard from ppl that fuji colour is very good.. This post has been edited by tommyfai: Jan 2 2014, 02:22 PM |

QUOTE(tommyfai @ Jan 2 2014, 02:21 PM)
i think right (and i might be wrong), basically XE-2 and X-M1 is the same..just stuff like fps is different..the main difference (I think) is x-m1 dun have viewfinder, but honestly, even with the x-pro 1 i find myself using the screen a lot also. and x-m1 flash can be bounced too (not sure if xe2 can or not)..well.. yea.. a lot of walking especially around rome and florence.. leg and shoulder pain.. zzz.. X-E2 or X-M1 which is the prefer choice though ? heard from ppl that fuji colour is very good.. yeah, not only shoulder or leg pain bro haha, but also not so convenient right to carry a big dslr around? I was in Portugal for study, went to Spain and Paris for awhile..also very afraid of pickpocket as Europe A LOT of pickpocket.. u can ask @chongkiatz for better personal review for the x-m1 as he just bought 1 some time ago.. |

Well, i would say both offering same good IQ but the only hold back is non interchangeable lens, but is good too as need not to spend extra bucks for lenses...I'm actually pretty interested to get the x100s for my brother..what's the best price you can offer? |

QUOTE(tommyfai @ Jan 2 2014, 02:21 PM)
i have tested both and opt for XE2. here're some comparison i can recall:well.. yea.. a lot of walking especially around rome and florence.. leg and shoulder pain.. zzz.. X-E2 or X-M1 which is the prefer choice though ? heard from ppl that fuji colour is very good.. image quality not much different. XE2 got viewfinder, XM1 no. XE2 AF better than XM1 XE2 build quality better (more metal) compare to XM1 (more plastic) XM1 got tilted screen good for capturing low and high angle shot with LCD, XE2 don hav XE2 got faster processor, therefore faster frame rate, read write speed etc. XE2 better grip than XM1 (although both also not much grip to me) more customize button for XE2 than XM1 if u are those people who like a lot of manual controls, button, dial etc... XE2 is a better choice |
