Forumer you are complaining against: mirrorstore

Item being bought: Powerbank YB-651

Date of transaction: 28th September 2013

Details of the complaint :

1) Purchased a Powerbank YB-651 from seller on 27th September 2013 and received on 28th September 2013. Oh yes, very efficient transaction.
2) Noticed one of the port on the powerbank is faulty and immediately ask the seller how to get replacement.
3) He mentioned to me to send back to his shop for warranty claim. Yes, he stated in his thread that it is 1 TO 1 EXCHANGE with T&C applied but he did not further explain on the T&C.
4) Decided to post it back to him on 7th October and even told him to inform me if the faulty unit arrive safely.
5) From 9th October until 21st October, I did not receive any single update from him on my warranty claim status.
6) On 23rd October, he told me that the replacement unit will be done by the China side instead of from the him directly.
7) So I gave him more time to work on my case but till date all I get for answer is the China side haven't send the replacement unit thus could not give me a new unit. I did offer if he could provide me a new unit directly or just refund the amount to me.
8) It's been 2 months dragging and till date I don't have a date on when I can get my replacement unit from him.
9) And yes, I did called to the shop and made a fuss because I could not get a proper explanation on my case dragging so long. And I bought from him based on the positive review from other forumers but little do I know is the warranty part is such a let down.

So clearly he stated that 1 to 1 exchange in his thread but what I got from him is more like RMA process.

He indeed have stock in hand but what matters him is just business. Before sales, service is excellent. After sales, very poor service.

Your feedback is all about first purchase. No doubt your response to any buyer is fast but the main topic here is the warranty claim.

What you wrote in your thread is under your responsibility, not Yoobao. So the consumers is dealing with you, not Yoobao. You are misleading the consumers.

Exactly what I'm trying to imply in the PM conversation. But all he can reply to me is China did not provide any specific date or whatsoever. Which means I have to wait even if it only arrives in 2014.

And according to him, for a consumer to get status update from the seller is such a wrong act because it is called disturbance and calling the consumer kiasu. From what I can see at the date of my PM to him is each of the PM is sent few days in between. Not everyday.

If the seller do know what is called business, I'm sure he knows about business ethics but does this kind of reply doesn't seems like one of the ethics to me.

Look dude, it's a waste of time to drag this case. You yourself stated 1 to 1 exchange is within first month which means that you need and must exchange a new one for my faulty unit. 2 months time is not enough for you? If China side process is very slow, I believe other forumers purchase stuff from Taobao will take forever to reach their doorstep. But it did not.

1 to 1 exchange is not about sending back to whatever China supplier you bought from. That is your issue with them. Not mine. What makes you think that you can conclude this thread without giving any solution to me?

Verified and checked all the ports are working fine. Thanks for everyone to help in the dispute notworthy.gif
