Depending on the course layout, MA chassis may or may not even need front damper. Because it's a balanced chassis, side dampers (in some situations) is already sufficient. You just need to play with the damping travel distance, or the mass damper weight.

*
if super 2 can get same effect with side damper and no front damper?

QUOTE(ashrafrahman @ Mar 18 2014, 08:33 AM)
If I'm not mistaken, thesa same as per below.

make the holes.
screw them together (the bigger hole) and the regular hole.
then apply glue at the sides. dont put too much. little by little.
then slowly unlock the screw.

btw, why waste? u can just use penknife and split open. redo.
sesusah, this saturday come n chill lor smile.gif
ill do it for u.
*
maybe i put too much glue, i tried splitting with knife but didnt work so i cut them in halves to make sidestay wing whistling.gif
glue at side strong enough for brake? no need to glue in between ke?

right now tgh puasa becoz my carbon super 2 front bumper patah, still waiting for my new car to arrive cry.gif

no need to use super glue
I use thin double sided tape, works just as fine

use round file to enlarge the holes
*
im not sure if double sided tape is strong enough though. my rear break tanggal in TU track last month even with super glue

how it's tanggal? break from ur chassis?
*
the brake is 2 batang ais krim glued together right,
the lower one tanggal leaving only the one attached to the rear frp.
maybe the glue i used wasnt strong enough

My opinion is your groove maybe not deep enough for the glue to sip through.. or else you can get the extra thin CA glue from rc shop..
*
QUOTE(sonic_cd @ Mar 21 2014, 10:10 PM)
maybe its due to the glue and how you apply i guess .happened to me before a few times
*
my problem right now is how to align the 2 sticks properly because the super glue dry super fast.

QUOTE(ErgoProxi @ Mar 21 2014, 11:53 PM)
a newbie here.
planing to buy a basic model here.
which one is better:
middle engine or rear engine?
*
it depends on the track layout and.. your preferences, i guess?

guys... blush.gif
how to remove scratches & dent[minor] ?  icon_question.gif
especially on chassis bumper. sweat.gif
I went with a mach dash engine + hex hole ball bearings 1st. tongue.gif
*
be careful if u put the front roller directly into the chassis without frp/hg the screw hole may become loose if your car is fast enough on a track with many curves
