Guys need your help..

Peugeot SC and GEOTAuto quoted me RM600++ for brake pad.. And from previous post being quoted TRW brake pad for RM250/pair.. IS there any aftermarket brand or shop that I can buy the brake pad for 408?

currently looking at bendix MKT and brembo but not sure whether can fit to our caliper or not.. being asking the seller but he himself not sure..

I dont want to buy EBC since the price almost the same with the price quoted by SC..

Your help in this matter is highly appreciated..

They said maybe due to less air pressure while driving until it burst..

I always checked my tire regularly and ensure the bunga dont botak. Imagine if i was driving 160km and suddenly tire burst like this.. Lucky i was constantly driving 90kmh during the incident and on the left lane..

During that time i have lost power on the wheels due to vibration of the rims hit the road..

Yes.. between that range. However I don't mind the sound.. As long didn't kacau my engine shud b enough..

Mine last time 20k also got brake noise problem. SC told me to cuci my rim and tayar (due to dust).. So I did but the sound still there..

SC told us 'normal' because don't want us to claim warranty of 20k for brake? Do they have warranty for brake?

Anyway, mine clocked at 42k and already changed my brake pad.. now no more annoying sound. Bought TRW brake pad for 2.0NA at Euromotive Auto Parts. Total damage RM180/set for front brake pad. SC quoted me RM616 at glenmarie and RM660 at geotauto.

A bit spongy i must say but overall performance quite same with stock brake pad..

For NA and Turbo, the design of brake pad a bit different (NA 283mm disc & Turbo 302mm disc) and the price too.. Don't buy the wrong one ok..

From the box, 408NA sharing the same brake pad for 307 and citroen xsara picasso 2.0.

Bro, I'm using the old version (based from stock brake pad). Not sure can use the new version or not..

DIY bro.. Buy megs scratchX 2.0 for least aggressive or if u have good firm hand buy Ultimate Compound..

Am using UC today for the first time and the result for my eye sore scratch gone ady..

Read about 'how to do it' in meg online if you never do polishing before..

Ultimate compound is a safe clear coat product.. However, u need to check with experts on this.. Do a research first before u make decision..
