i find it disappointing. the rear looks so teana/new sylphy ish. and the front is so generic that you can slap a hyundai badge on it and nobody will think otherwise. some may like it though.

make sure they are the correct size.

2.0L has 283mm disks and 1.6THP has 302mm disks

etiqa quoted the same for mine too

RM375 is reasonable. RM300.. too cheap. Could be old stock. Check the week/year manufactured on those tyres to comfirm.

Idk, but I'm using 235/45/17 on my stock 408t rims, looks a bit fat

I tot our original Conti tyre on 408T is 224/45/17? No?

I do get some buzzing sound when I open the door after unlocking but it only lasts about 2-3 seconds. Sounds like some kind of actuator has been activated.

sounds like some relay and it should go off

if it doesn't, send it back to SC

Mine also have similer noise when turn on without start engine

i'm new here. last sunday test drove 408 turbo, 2.0 and 508. can tell you guys, i was really impressed. i need your sincere advise and opinion on 408 here on a few things..

1. hows the maintenance cost for 408 turbo as compared to 2.0. i heard turbo uses timing chain and the latter uses timing belt.

2.  FC for both city and long distance driving.

3.  issues that normally related to these two cars. like someone told that turbo has issues on sensor and gearbox.

i know you guys might have mentioned it earlier... i tried reading 1 by 1 but its just tooooo long. i really need your advise and opinion as i fell in luv with this lion..

2years ago I test drove the 408THP when it was introduced. I actually was keen on the NA,but that day only THP test car was available. Ok I thought no harm in testing it. That test run completely changed my opinion. Changed my mind to the THP for following reasons:

Very precise and accurate feedback from the steering. This is not my 1st car, the feedback is at another level compared to even other conti's I've owned previously.
Turbo power is simply addictive. Effortless and smooth
Silky smooth 6spd gb.
$20K extra( price diff between NA & THP ) is a steel for what you get.
  My rough estimate to configure a 4spd NA to 6spd turbo and additional safety features which comes on the car is $70K min. 

IMO, if you can afford the extra $20K,get the THP.

Btw,bro sbd has upgraded to 508 SW. He is selling his 408t. The car is very low mileage and very good shape. Same batch as mine and we have not had a single problem.

out of curiosity, would you be kind enough to enlighten the reason or reasons for that matter, of why you would have chosen a 408T over 408NA shall you have the chance of turning back the time?
