QUOTE(SKYjack @ Jan 10 2014, 05:18 PM) <...> As for date, you should insist service records filled in service booklet. For your own reference and any warranty disputes. Although they have stored electronically, always good to have your own records at hand! Yes, that's why I made them fill in the booklet when I collected the car

QUOTE(mtbk3 @ Jan 12 2014, 06:25 PM) <...> No offense, i feel that there is no delivery of power on 1st and 2nd gear. The engine just revs up to 5000rpm on both gear. But no launch or no kick. Its on the 3rd gear where i feel the power kicks in. There is a SLIGHT feel of the torque delivery. As i can feel my body being push back a little. Is this normal for the car?<...> I can agree that the 1st and 2nd gears don't feel good, based on driving the car for almost 1 month. I think that's just how the auto gearbox is programmed. First 2 gears feel completely different in manual mode - very good. I don't have much experience with the sports mode so won't comment on it. Edit: grammar... QUOTE(Eugene Ong @ Jan 17 2014, 03:55 AM) Thanks, but not a very pleasant start with my new car. The car was out on 24 Dec 2013 night time. But was broke down on 26 Dec 2013 evening at Mid Valley car park. It has been tow to Geotauto PJ 22 (Benny SA). At first sign suspect was a relay problem. But later find out it was fan more problem. At first they told me a joke, they said my car need to take 1 week to repair. But I said how can it be, don't you keep stock. They said no stock and need to order from Klang and might not have. I was quite mad, I tell them I order stuff from Penang took me just 1 day to arrive. At the counter, they ask me to call the HQ (Why can't they call?) Then I call, they revert me back they do have stock. I ask them when can the stock can be deliver to this SC, they said tomorrow. Then I have to leave my car there. After the day, they said the stock haven't arrive and since is Saturday, they will not able to make it and will be arrive on Monday. Then on Monday, I made a call again, requested the SC to make a call to check the stock again and make sure is on the Lorry. He just told me that the stock have been order and refuse to call. True enough the fan is not in the lorry, the SC just told me FORGOTTEN, need to wait until tomorrow for the first session of stock deliver (Usually they send good twice a days). Only the the fifth day I get back my car, the SC also dare not to see me. Just past to other colleague. Just a shame with their SC standard, the SA only reply me with CANNOT, ALREADY ORDER, FORGOTTEN. The reason I wrote it down here is to share this Geotauto service standard, hopefully can alert people. If you claim warranty on part or require part to perform your car repair, you better call yourself. I Will never go back again. Hopefully these are the only problem and other SC will be better. Cheers Eugene Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear that you have had such a bad experience! Hopefully the service improves so we can all enjoy better peace of mind.

My 408t gave me a "Top up your coolant" warning on 22 Jan. When I checked on 23 Jan, the coolant level was about 1.5cm below the minimum mark. I topped up with filtered water till the mid-tank level. Next time I see the warning I will know how fast it is dropping... Ideally, what should I use to top up the coolant with? Car noob here Also, I think my cabin air filter or door seals are not working well anymore... When I took delivery of the car in Dec, I drove around with the Air Cond Recirculation off and hardly smell anything from outside. Since 3 weeks ago, even with Air Cond Recirculation on, I still smell the smoke, garbage, etc... Anyone with a similar experience? My car was already 7 months old when I took delivery, so I don't think it is just that the new stuff wore off. Btw I got the car tinted maybe 1-2 weeks before the smell problem surfaced. Not sure if it is related. Thanks in advance for any help! This post has been edited by puppydogpoo: Jan 25 2014, 10:16 AM

QUOTE(mtbk3 @ Jan 29 2014, 10:43 PM) Are you sure is a normal thing to happen bro??? Can i get a 2nd opinion from other owners here. Does this happen to your ride?? My 408t does the same thing. I never timed it... My ex colleague's Mazda RX8 also keeps the radiator fan on for a while even after you turn off the engine and leave. I say don't worry about it

QUOTE(Pugbunny @ Feb 2 2014, 10:26 AM) Gong xi fi cai! Did anyone experience steering vibration especially at a shopping mall parking with a cement surface when making a turning ie in a stationary while reversing into a parking bay? Do you mean that (1) the steering wheel vibrates on its own when you do not move it or (2) steering wheel vibrates a lot when you are turning it? If (1), I believe I experienced this once. Felt like some kind of weird feedback between the road surface and the power steering system. I just quickly turned the steering to move the wheels away from that position and the vibration went away. If (2), I think I get this quite often... Don't really think about it.
