u can avoid that by completely ignoring physical store. Removing that medium means u dont hav to pay the extra rent which ur profit from sales would hav to cover. Generally, ppl hu open a physical store will have to generate their profit by
a) higher price per kit
b) buy HUGE amount of bulk to target that ideal price per kit value but in turn take on greater risk of over stocking
If u cut off that medium u can save alot allowing u to price it lower then ur competitors while still getting healthy profit margin from each sales.

the problem is u r not the only 1 doing it, tons of sellers using forum (lowyat is a big example, just look at trade zone and search for gundam n thousands of WTS threads would crop up) and facebook as their medium so competition is stiff.
