Hi... Sifus...

Simple noob question.

My Note 3 unrooted, suddenly updated firmware@software just now. But still 4.3.

So what was it updated?
*
There isn't any official changelog from Samsung on its uodatrs, but most of the significant changes in MJ7 base firmware are

1. Smoother
2. More free ram available
3. Better battery life (yet to confirm)
4. Darker keyboard theme
5. More color setting for s view window

Look at page 1 and your question had been answered there.

Your palm need to be in the karate hand chop position and you have to touch the the screen throughout the swipe

alexng2208 No fc for action memo from air command. Maybe flashing without recovery won't give full functionality.

Andrewtst the custom kernel is quote smooth and good for battery. Use some kernel Turner apps like setcpu or system tuner or trickster to change the governor and uv it. I uv all frequency -65 and so far so good. No reboot no lag. Maybe will try -75

Hi, WiLyi,

What Scheduler & Governor Control you set?

Also where to set uv all frequency to -65 under Trickster MOD?
*
I'm using row for I/O scheduler and governor I'm using Iintellidemand

In trickster, click the menu button on the top left and go to specific, and the last part of that page, you will see voltage control

No restrictions in the package. Already checked with maxis they just can't seem to get the 4g on my device. Any chance it's a device problem?

Any way to check? Different bands etc?
*
Best way is swap your friend sim card and check if got 4G connection or not in your phone. If in his phone can get 4g but not yours, then maybe is ur device faulty.

and antt00

as in the kn0x0ut style, there is a not_installed apps folder with all apps that weren't installed.

under the xnote folder i have
apps, csc, emailclient, kernel, kitkat, launchers, recovery, sound and systemui

what am i missing or how do i install them?
*
Don't copy everything there, some of the files there are supposing to be choose in aroma.

Csc you can ignore, email client you have already settle it yestersat, kernel you can do nothing without tripping knox, kitkat is some of the apps from the new kitkat os, you may copy what you want and push it to system/apps

Sound and systemui you can also ignore it. But if you want the sound mod like viper4android or sound boost, just download the apk or zip file and install or flash using the knoxout method.

Try to insert another telco sim card which is 4G enabled and see if your phone can detect the 4G signal or not

I am just guessing but should be viable as the csc codes can disable and enable alot of things according to country and region. Dunno what happens if no sim card.
Got, you can try.
*
Bro, you sure DiGi got LTE support on mobile phone? As far as I know they currently only have 4G support for broadband service but not on mobile data wor

Hi Guys,

What is your current firmware version? Mine running 4.3 and now is upgradeable, not sure wan to upgrade anot..
*
4.3 is the Android version, which is Jelly Bean

The notification you receive is firmware update which will update your phone to MJ7 base. If you are not rooted or don't wish to root, then by all means please update the firmware

Really strange why people so unsure about firmware upgrade recently? Those years back whenever we have FOTA update is like Christmas day. Maybe is due to all those new security lockdown that hold people down hmm.gif

lol! haha! no FC so far. The only weird thing I notice is seems the CivZ-Engine-Rev1.9 kernel cannot full charge 100%, once reach 100%, unplug immediate drop to 97%. Hmmm....

I let it re-charge, and it show 98% then immediate 100%, unplug now drop back to 98%. I think this kernel a bit incorrectly report the battery part.

Let it re-charge again! haha! Now show 99% once unplug.

-------------------------------------------

I think the CivZ-Engine-Rev1.9 kernel make the phone too earlier show 100% charge.

You need to let it charge more before it really reach real 100%.
*
No issue on this, upon unplug from 100%, it will only drop to 99% after 30mins. Tried that after 2 charge cycle.

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Dec 17 2013, 07:18 PM)
Nope , wasnt enable. Lazy to tweak anything so it's at default . I got it every time I charged over an hour . Just flash stock kernel n so far no issue . Can be pretty sure its CivZ problem
*
I don't have that issue Bro. Lock screen sound doesn't lost and no random reboot on this kernel. The only problem i encounter is changing sound to vibrate mode the phone dont vibrate. Those day when you choose vibrate mode thr phone will vibrate once. But somehow I still got a feeling that lean kernel is better.
