for HD7970 I'd recommend getting a PSU with at least 600W, not that the 550W can't support it but it's safer to allow some headroom so that you have ample power to perform overclocking or future upgrades that is a good PSU , as in the website mention it can support until GPU like amd 7970
besides that there are other options in the market such as the FSP Raider 650W for RM269, rated at 80+ silver but very highly recommended
