You'll need to use the meter at 10mm. Should be fine. I don't think you'll be able to get decimal point accurate coz conversion from inches to mm isn't exactly to the dot in water cooling.
The XT45 and the EX240 are two completely different radiators. So don't simply buy. lol. One is better off with SP fans, and the other with AF fans. The EX is high FPI and the XT45 is low FPI. They are different things. So before jumping the gun, read up and decide.
Dotatech takes their stocks from APES IINM.

Hi guys, my initially plan for my WC rig is something like this
Pump ->Front 240mm Radiator ->CPU Block->Top 240mm Radiator->GPU Block->Res
However now i'm thinking to change the front 240mm radiator to 360mm radiator provided i need to slightly mod the case by dismantling the 5.25" optical drive rack. Based on your experience any major different in terms of cooling performance for 240mm vs 360mm?

Tonight busy to dismantle the existing Seidon 240M & doing some dismantling work for 5.25" optical rack, due to the limited space of my casing, i plan to put the D5 pump+res combo on top of the hardisk rack, will it be harmed to the hardisk in long run?

LOL.
Use the mounting bracket and the vibration dampener that came with your pump top. You'll be alright.
*
The bracket is just a simple plate and if i screw it to the pump top i cant put it to horizontal as per current setup, am i right?

Horrible idea.  shakehead.gif

1. Vibration from the pump, along with weight of the reservoir will affect your fittings.
2. You'll damage the pump power cable.
3. Without proper mounting to secure the pump, the vibrations will in the long run damage your pump and make lots of noise.
4. You might just end up breaking something.

Custom make a mount mechanism from acrylic or perhaps direct mount to your case wall. If you don't have the know how, look for shepard or irienaoki
*
That is what i'm worried, i will figure out how to solve this problem hmm.gif

Can you mount your pump 90 degrees? Then you can mount the pump on the walls of the case. Attach the reservoir to the side ports of the pump top.
*
My problem is the space is very limited, i cant find any place to mount, from panel i plan to put a 360mm rad it is almost fill height of the case ady cry.gif
