actually ppl like grinding.. u look at majority of gaming habits.. its actually playing same thing over and over again.. grinding culture
like CS/dota.. ppl jus play same maps over and over again.. if the game is jus one story mode ppl finish and dun play anymore.. how many times can u replay a story based game?
so they using leveraging ppl who grind.. pretty sure many wont mind.. u can grind if wan or pay if u dowan to grind..
simple logic..
I seen my frens grinding 2 hrs each day on pokopang just to get cherries coz they dowan to pay..
that is just how it is, grinding is part of gaming..
if they grinding dun feel like grinding it is not called grinding anymore and they wont have extra income.. the whole point is to have extra cashflow..
same like u, I do not have faith in those publisher making it fair.. its always bias.. who dowan earn extra money?
but the problem is who will win? publisher or consumers?
I actually like a bit of grinding in games but the problem is, the grinds in game has been exploited to the point that it is literally endless in order to sell you microtransactions or DLCs. I am not cool with that sort of grinds. Especially after you throw in microtransactions.
I really have no faith in the new generation of consoles and most AAA publishers. They are going to exploit the consumers to cover their inefficient business operation.

Make sense bro. But grinding has always been a part of GT. Since the first franchise. Real fans don't really mind though.
Yes the handling and everything is totally different, but GT6 has a lot of improvements to offer and worth the purchase.
It's pretty easy though just ignore the microtransaction part and we are good to go

I blame Apple and mobile gaming for microtransaction hahaha.
Respect your ways of thinking but there isn't that much microtransaction game yet. Only GT6 is going this route. I hate it too.
Kind of unfair.. Rich people get everything while poor ones have to grind. But it's all part of the game. I play to enjoy, so...buat lek buat pis

Alamak when Project Cars coming out? I don't really like GT that much either btw.. Grid 2 is way better imo.
Grinding alone is fine, if there is an end to it even if its dozens of hours away but having microtransactions will most likely mean that they will tweak its gridning eventually. That is just the first step, they will make microtransactions even worse in future installments.
GT's problem has always been that Polyphony has always been slow in catching up to its competitors which is why Forza managed to be a much bigger game than GT in the previous gen which at the end, especially on the driving sensation part as most cars in GT5 feels like driving a Toyota Yaris or something, even for expensive supercars.
Project CARS should be out sometime next year. Full production has started but its a fairly niche game as they aim to focus a lot on motorsports than road cars with a small but well tuned car list. A Mercedes Benz SLS GT3 will behave very differently from the road version but how different is it, still depends on how they tune it. From the pre-alpha, some cars are pretty damn fun to drive now.
