During my travel, only stick to 35mm. Can't do much landscape with it, now I miss my sold Sigma 18-200mm. sad.gif

Sunset at 渔人码头。
ISO 100, 35mm, f/4, 1/500.

Neat! smile.gif

Some improvement though, you can level up the view by using level option in crop settings mode in Lightroom.

My first try for starry sky photography. Didn't go for focus stacking yet, I think the masking stuff would be too much for me. Now I understand how it works, you don't need to wait for this kind of starry sky for this, enough with some stars visible to your naked eyes. The small stars can be captured with long shutter later.

Previously, I thought you need to bump up your ISO crazily for this (because high ISO in Nikon have starry night picture in the selection). tongue.gif

Guys, I recently sold my D90 and thinking for an upgrade...D90 video capability is still kinda awful, i'm thinking of an upgrade to D7100, D610 or Canon 6D....i'm pretty happy with all of the image quality but i'm not sure in video....

Check out some review and D610 have some aliasing problem, not sure about the D7100...

So to all sifu, which 1 do you think I should get for best video quality?
*
If you want to use for pro purpose, definitely Canon for video, much better control, a lot better actually eg live view aperture control and exposure simulation.

Sold my Tamron 10-24 for landscape ( so sad ) since I rarely managed to go far for landscape nowadays. But now I bought 2nd hand Tamron 90mm Macro (older version) and waiting for delivery.

Do you think this is a good decision? I mean the lens, is it good? I think I cannot spend too much money even on the new VC tamron macro.

I think I'll use it often, all of my macro actually done in my home's backyard. Really flexible biggrin.gif
Just wondering if I should actually wait for Tamron VC edition. But meh... nevermind, I'll sell it if I don't like it like before.

Testing reverse lens macro. Picture on the left is 35mm+Raynox, the right 35mm reversed handheld. Quite hard.

The eyes of the dragonflies are not in focus if you are focusing on the thorax vice versa laugh.gif
So in the end still have to take from farther and crop if you want both to be in focus tongue.gif

Noted. Ya, DOF is crazy in macro. Should get backward and use narrower aperture then. Also this one,

still think that a lot of your pictures have too much of yellow hue or too "warm". is it something wrong with your screen's calibration or you purposely edited it like that?
*
Ya purposely, I made three preset for this, the cold, warm and neutral. The cold one like my the first cat picture which I posted before.
