For one year tenancy, if landlord insisted on $1.8k but left vacant for over 2.5 months will be worst off than rented out at $1.5k immediately. Landlords need to decide whether can rent out within 2.5 months or not.

Property market been a zero sum game. Those holding for market price will only benefit those decided to undercut; not only won't be appreciated but labelled ignorant.

Obviously those with gold and silver mountains backing could hold until they get their desire price.

For dead chicken group, $10 in pocket is better than $50 on the floor. Should take every $ on the table.

As said before, there is a variety of people, you don't lump all to one group or curse everybody.

The market decide price and rental, my view has no impact.

Property price is one least transparent. what does s&p price mean? how relevant is to market price? what is current market price? if s&p price is not market price, is it a whim and fancy price? is discounted whim and fancy price good value?

Rental drop mean Many's holding power is limited.

If rental is a lead indicator mean property price will drop in similar proportion. Also implying auction price could follow nearby Lakeville to sub RM 500 psf.

The issue is there could be many weak hand goreng kaki and price could be suppressed for longer than most expected or wanted.
