QUOTE(ReaperOfSoul @ Dec 8 2013, 11:24 AM) Go sell Mudah, I saw someone post RM400 http://www.mudah.my/Rim+standard+13+inci-24531272.htm And good luck. If still can't sell then only come back offer me a price I'm not an arsehole, that RM40 is the value of the rims because I have no interest in Cibaistones. If Ducaro/Duraplus tyres, above RM100 I will also consider to take geh. |

QUOTE(zeone @ Dec 8 2013, 06:01 PM) No prob, Bro YAB... Pak, if u go tayar shop/chop shop hor, if u tell the chop head u want 1 piece of those FLX alloy rim, offer them RM200, they can spare u 1 geh. Cost selling full set 4 bijik baru RM400 No harm juz hoping...even dreaming abit, mayb...rite? Me juz thot it wld b good idea juz like 4kompang rims... ie where spare is exactly same as the rest... & can b used as a normal rim + normal tyre... Not need 2rush 2repair puncture/replace tyre (&rim) cos totally different fr road rims/tyres... ps. All cars with alloy rims used 2b supplied with same alloy rim & tyre as the other 4 road wheels.... Now the spare is juz a "get-yu-to-nearest-tyreshop" function... |

For a cockring, the actual usage is to isolate free space movement on the front mounted cross member. Front undercarriage usually start to get loosen due to engine revving and micro vibration that resonate inside the engine bay. The freeplay that created by the loosen mountings may not be significant until like this
![]() Those bolt that used to fasten the cross member and engines has some sort of locking mechanism at the back of the bolt head, so it will prevent the bolt from slipping off. Something like this. ![]() The above however may not guaranteed the bolt from slipping off by millimeters. As car manufacturer tighten the bolt, they use torque wrench/airgun set to suitable weight to pump the bolt in so they don't break the bolt head, also to prevent the locking mechanism being grind away. After the bold being lock tight according to specification, after driving some time, the micro vibration will automatically counter clockwise reject the bolt out, and during the rejection the locking marks will punch on the host, hence the bolt will not continue to fall out. This, had allowed a small tolerance at the bolt on area to have micro movement. 1 might not even notice vibration noise or feeling anything shaking in the engine bay. However, when you're taking a corner, when lateral force in play, every single movable part in the engine bay will be swaying to 1 side, including the freeplay on the bolt then you'll feel the kind of numb sensation on steering wheel. So, some smart cookie took the idea of industrial lock bolt, to put a piece of ring in order to prevent the bolt from slipping AT ALL. ![]() Ayam not here to support the product, neither do I wish to comment on the pros and cons. Just to share with you some stuff I learnt back in the older days when engine precision weren't as great as today, we do use similar tricks to fine tune our rides. Some like the harsh feeling of supreme steering feedback, some... not so. |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Dec 9 2013, 11:13 PM) engine precision weren't as great as today. Means today the precision is already very precision! I'll take that back No need waste money to precision something which is already precision due to advancement in precision! |

QUOTE(mizynee @ Dec 11 2013, 05:46 PM) so wat r u suggesting for tire? im open for suggestions before change.. haha this 1 it should be la.. nvr pay attention also.. QUOTE(davidke20 @ Dec 3 2013, 06:34 PM) It's not that I don't trust them, but I f***ing hated Sunway, so I didn't bother to go try. Other than that, cibaistone is not on my list unless below RM100 for such crappy performance tyre. Ayam currently happy with Caina tayar. Let's see whether I get my Conti this Flydei for my rear. If not, probably gonna stick with HiFly tayar at my back for long² time to cum ![]() ![]() QUOTE(davidke20 @ Dec 4 2013, 12:57 AM) I don't know la bro. Ayam impromptu mia go there. Sometimes I kena paku also go all the way there So far about 15k. All I can say is, despite it's only a blardy 165/50R14, but handling is quite up to my previous Sime Astar A100 185/60R14. Road noise is surprisingly little. Wet traction is sufficient, but obviously no match with wider tyres. I supposed this tyre wouldn't last me more than 2 years. I can finish a bloody Cibaistone Powerblitz 1800 in 1 year. |
