sifus here..i just want to ask...usually how many day to take if sent phone to service centre?..mine already a week and no news for my phone..im using xperia ZL..right now everyday task like slow since im always sync my schedule,email and etc into the phone...

A new update to Sony’s WALKMAN app is now rolling out to Sony Xperia Z devices, which moves the build number from 7.15.A.0.0 to 8.0.A.0.3. The big update in version number brings a number of big changes including new playlists for “Newly added” songs, “Most played” songs as well as your Track ID history. Playlists can also now be saved that have been shared by friends. Other changes includes a long overdue “Now playing” indicator, a 30 second free preview of songs and the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements. The update should be available on your Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and other Xperia Z devices right now.

I got battery probs, even though I am already active power mode, but battery is not long lasting, any idea?

Even in Xperia Z also sometimes mine take up to several minutes to lock up with the satellites.

For my Samsung takes few seconds only.

Hopes 4.3 updates comes with fix updates. Alot of things in Xperia Z and ZL has to be fix. Etc when calling suddenly got weird noise come out, music even good quality also speaker cant perform well, GPS takes very long to connect to get signal, camera quite alot of noise in picture, weak battery performance sometimes, and many more.

did you unlock your BL?

locked BL = locked bootloader
unlock = unlock bootloader.

becuz if you unlocked your BL and you didnt backup your TA partition before you unlock.. those features are pretty much byebye including your bravia engine 2.

and you cannot restore other ppl's TA partition or else your phone can RIP already..

hmmm.. ok easiest way to test is

1. open facebook app
2. screenshot your newsfeed (make sure bluebar is on top)
3. open that pic in "Album" app
4. wait about 5 seconds.. if that bluebar becomes normal blue (aka a different blue) instead of facebook blue = then BE2 is still there
5. if after 5 seconds and that blue bar is still facebook blue then your BE2 engine is not there.. means the technician unlocked BL and maybe never restore or anything.

6. try to troubleshoot, see if BE2 is ticked under Settings -> Display, compare both on/off, see the same screenshot picture can liao

not yet.. today morning just saw this news.. maybe later i back to room, then i will download and try it..

checked the screenshot from DoomLorD.. saw the UI changes. some people reported in xperiablog and xda forum, which the update improve the performance..

From screenshot, we can notice UI changes in some aspects.. significantly is camera UI. same as Z1 without timeshift. and we can add some add-on like motion shot and others reported by ppl by click the + button on top-right camera UI.

small apps i can at least opened 5 apps in once.. Great improve here

total ram can be use is 1.77+gb ram.. after installed fb and others nearly 800MB ram free..

camera can install AR effects, motionshot, social live..
