Slim is always nice but I would very much worried about how good the heat will get out from the body.
I am also waiting to have my GTX680M replace with GTX880M.

Since upgraded to Win8.1, the only problem I face is during exiting Bioshock Infinite Steam version. All other Steam titles work with no problem.
Played Far Cry3(very long session of play time), Blood dragons, Assasins Creed Black Flag and others from Uplay, no problem.
Crysis3, Sabotuer others from Origin also work with no problem.

Any one have any idea where can I upgrade my M17xR4's 680M to anything better in Penang? Very much appreciated.

Don't worry so much about the VM as long as you leave it auto, OS will expand and reduce the VM automatically according to need. Just make sure that you have enough space for it to grow over is needed. Auto is not the best setting of course. This is due to the OS has to monitor the needed usage and calculate accordingly. This can take up some time. If you have enough space, just set it to 2~3GB fixed space should be more than enough.


By the way, your Batman Arkham Origin is it ahem one or original one? Mine don't have this problem at all, my is steam version. If it is ahem version then should be the crack is not perfect yet.

That exactly is the problem. The so call ahem app. is only targeted to specific OS version. Once the OS version change, chance for it to break is very possible.

Anyway, my original steam version don't have this weird memory issue and I am running on Win8.1 as well.
