probably.. but not a 680M by any means even with a 4k price tag, can say a basic model haha. Put in SSD n upgrade ram already reaches 5k + mark.

great news! clevo's 980m works well natively in aw17/18, without bios/vbios modding (a.k.a. plug and play, literally). previously aw18 was reported to be unable to run slevo's 980m.sli. it turned out that it can. the catch is to run them in uefi mode (w8.1 was confirmed to work. let's see if w7 uefi will work as well)

Bought from Putochip around 2 months ago with awesome price. if not mistaken around 3.5k. This baby really make me happy until now  . I just upgrade to SSD Evo 840 and thinking to upgrade to 16GB of RAM. With power adapter 240W is it ok to put more RAM?

that's a rather sad news. i was reading another news about instability of clevo's 980m in m17x r4 just now. read a rumor that 980m in new aw17 is actually a 4gb vram version also.

by the way, i just checked... my warranty ended liao...    can i still buy extended warranty? i forgot the name of the lyn forumer who can qoutes for extended warranty... anybody know who should i pm to the extended warranty?

Of course it is possible. Just need to get the replacement mobo. Try ebay or ask dell malaysia quote you for it. Well..better check with dell whether they still can proceed with the warranty extension on your m15x. Last time they quoted me RM650 only for 1 year.

well you are comparing entry- and mid-tier cards with it, surely they lose to 680m at stock.
