Nah, not going to reinstall my BIOS because everything was fine before this. Just after they changed the fan that it was problematic so they can come fix it. The CPU was over heating before because of their thermal liquid placing. Plus with the over heating, and BD rom slot issues, etc I have already reinstalled once in the last few weeks so I already have the latest BIOS horns, Dell is pissing me off. You know my history with the last machine. At least the GPU works on this one. This post has been edited by refnulf: Oct 21 2014, 08:26 PM

QUOTE(e_mc_square @ Oct 21 2014, 12:16 PM) I see, you able to monitor the temperature right? If your CPU is already in 80C and it still not at full speed. I suspect might due to the fan profile behaviour in bios. You can try to take out the cmos battery and reset bios 1st. If problem persist, update your bios. A little bit of risk to do that, but if you know exactly what you are doing, is completely no risk at all. 10 months, take it to warranty. if 3 time still got problem, directly email to Dell said you want to change a system. You told them you can't bare the lose that the laptop cost you every time it down. In fact, if you buy laptop from Dell website, they will replace you a new one if you complain. Provided they can't fix your problem. This is the replacement machine, got it last December! This post has been edited by refnulf: Oct 22 2014, 03:43 PM
