Ok so far I have a Monk Lvl 15, just started act 2. Perhaps i'll go barb after the monk. Any monk sifu's around? I realise monk a bit squishy but painful.

Based on my experience, ...

The short story version -> Monk is the best due to less spamming of keys for skills activation.

The long story version -> I've played all the D3 character classes. So far, both of my barbarian and wizard had achieved P100 while my monk has reached P96 last weekend then comes P50 Demon Hunter and lastly, P10 Witch Doctor.

Conclusion.
Barbarian = perma-WoTB, wizard = perma-freeze, monk = perma-bell, DH = perma-gloom and WD = perma-CoB.

Okay, here’s the thing. When I mean stucked, I meant, I’m already level 60 and I can’t go Inferno yet. I can’t wait for it lol.

It depends. Let’s just take level 60 as the base point because the LoH vs. Lifesteal % argument doesn’t mean anything if you’re not level capped. Anyways let’s start.

LoH everyone knows it’s just how much HP you gain when you hit an enemy. Of course, we have to take the Inferno mode penalty into the picture, but that’s for Lifesteal % but not LoH. So, LoH is just clean how much HP you healing you get per hit but this is subject to skill modifiers. Read this table for barb coefficients : http://i.imgur.com/57kGJ.png

Then there’s Lifesteal % which is subject to a 80% reduction penalty. It applies to everything across the board. So let’s say you got 100k damage and 3% lifesteal across your character sheet. So effectively in an Inferno run, you’re only having an effective lifesteal of (100,000*0.03*0.2) = 600 HP.

So as you can see, the breakeven point for LoH & % Lifesteal is quite high. For a standard barb, he will have a raw LoH value of around 1200 perhaps(example does not include skill modifiers). For % Lifesteal to hit that value, that same barb that is thinking to switch to his 3% Lifesteal gear set must hit atleast 200,000 damage to breakeven with a barb with 100,000 damage and 1200 LoH and multiplied by the skill modifier.
