Wanted to ask if anyone knows which TRU or shops that has Lego small parts or those display cases? smile.gif

I got my display cases from Daiso. Not all the Daiso shops carry the big display cases though smile.gif last I saw was in Avenue K

Update: LEGO Sales@Avenue-K

As of 8.35pm:
I guess it was luck as I told myself to drop by to check things out. New stocks just happen to come in!

Yes ample of LONE RANGER TRAIN@50%. Got one smile.gif.
Was told there are about 20 sets came in. When I left there are sets still on shelf.

STAR WARS ADVENT CALENDAR@50% in as well. One brader bought I believe about 20 sets of it. Wow! 4 sets on the LN train. Believe me he bought a lot. smile.gif Kudos to you bro!

Rest stock and discount remains mostly the same as reported earlier today.

Hope the above helps.
*
Thanks for the update... I guess there'll be more to come? drool.gif

any bro / sis can help me get 79001 Escape from Mirkwood Spiders and post to me in Penang ?
i am willing to bear the extra charges.
*
Hi. You might want to try to look for a shop that's selling lego in Komtar. If I remember correctly, it's on the highest floor. Bought my spiders there last time at a much lower than retail price. It might come back to the same thing if you get it there after you factor in the postage costs.

no idea but they are opening 7 LEGO shops in Malaysia, I cannot recall how many in KL area, 2 or 3 I cannot recall and one in Penang for sure. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(FallouX @ Dec 23 2013, 09:41 AM)
Oh.. One lego Shop in penang.. that will be nice.. but then.. if the price remain at the current retail.....
*
That's interesting! Personally, I think that the prices might be slightly higher than the prices of the current sales in BBT, BV and AK for most of the items. This is because the current discounted prices are close to the US RRP.

Having said that, I'm hoping (with the Lego shops) on the availability of unique sets and the exclusive items that lego.com offers smile.gif oh! And the VIP points smile.gif

True that ... anyway no point for them to go for the small fries.  Look for the big fishes.

If I am not mistaken, businesses with annual sales turnover of RM 500,000 and below are exempted from being GST registered and thus will not be required to charge and pay GST.

Therefore, it might be cheaper to buy from some online resellers then retail shops as you can save 6%. Its like a 6% discount smile.gif

Nice! Now I'm really tempted to get one… maybe it's due to the long wait so my hands itchy looking for excuse to buy something haha. Ironically, I was there for lunch today and I was telling my friend that he could buy these sets at 50%. Now by the time I'm able to go on Thursday after work, I think all the nice sets are gone...

Haha waiting for ALJ to give further discounts… but then again, if they do give out discounts of up to 70%, not sure if I can get the chance to enjoy the discounts cause by the time I find out about it, it might have already all gone smile.gif
