Not yet confirm. my major concern is the price
*
Oh, I heard about the service before. Now I remember. Do you know how much they charge for delivery? I used to order drum cymbals from ebay. It weighed around 10 kgs. The seller send it from US and charged me around RM300. One thing I forgot, Malaysian Tax!!!!!

Yeah. I'm looking at it right now. I concur, the price is quite reasonable. I will definitely try their service in the future. Thanks for the info.

Hi all,

Checked out the Australia Market: https://ebgames.com.au/xbox-one

The consoles are selling at AUD600 = RM 2K (max).

Australians are using 240V as well, so all we need is an adapter.

Anyone got this unit already ? Can advice ?

Thanks.

** planning to ask my friend to bring one back this December 2013.

I'm sure it won't be too long before we see third-party asian power bricks showing up for the Xbox One.

Adding on to this thread. This is the US Day One console.

Credit to Amazon's supply chain management. Shipped Friday Nov 22 and arrived HK Sunday Nov 24. Being a Sunday yesterday, it was delivered first thing this morning. As always, I'll let the photos do the talking.

Unboxing photos.

[attachmentid=3739923][attachmentid=3739926][attachmentid=3739927][attachmentid=3739930][attachmentid=3739932][attachmentid=3739933][attachmentid=3739935][attachmentid=3739936][attachmentid=3739940][attachmentid=3739941][attachmentid=3739944]

The Day One achievement code.

[attachmentid=3739949]

The bundled HDMI cable has a solid built and feel to it.

[attachmentid=3739953][attachmentid=3739957][attachmentid=3739959]

The rather bulky power brick. Let me put all rumours to rest. The US power brick is NOT universal, so go out and get a stepdown now if you're planning to play it on arrival.

[attachmentid=3739960][attachmentid=3739961]

The controller has a really good fit. The bumpers need some getting used to though.

[attachmentid=3739962][attachmentid=3739964]

The Kinect interconnect.

[attachmentid=3739965][attachmentid=3739967][attachmentid=3739969][attachmentid=3739972]

After much foreplay ..... we finally get to the good part.

[attachmentid=3739975][attachmentid=3739977][attachmentid=3739978]

The soothing white lights of the controller, console and Kinect on powering up. The power brick also share the same white hue.

The following shots are the setup pages on powering up the console the first time ....

[attachmentid=3739979][attachmentid=3739980][attachmentid=3739981][attachmentid=3739982][attachmentid=3739984]

Language, location and network. Just in case anyone's wondering, you don't need to have a VPN to connect to the servers (if you're not located in the US). It's not IP restricted, so you should be able to connect in non-launch countries. However, the selection of Location in the second photo is only restricted to launch countries. There is no Asian countries on the list.

[attachmentid=3739985][attachmentid=3739989]

And finally, the Day One patch. Coming in at 507MB, it took me a good 12 minutes to update (on my 100 Mbps line).

[attachmentid=3739991]

Once downloaded, the console will self-reboot and thereafter you will be greeted by this green splash screen. This green screen was static for a good 2 minutes before it goes to the next step. Not very intuitive if you ask me. At least they should have a prompt to say "please wait while we're setting up .... " or something like that. If you're in this situation next time, be patient and wait and DON'T PANIC.  tongue.gif

After the green screen disappears, you will then come to the setup phase.

[attachmentid=3739992][attachmentid=3739994][attachmentid=3739996][attachmentid=3739997][attachmentid=3739999][attachmentid=3740000][attachmentid=3740003]

This sets up your Kinect video and audio. The console will blast sound bites from all 5.1/7/1 channels to calibrate your positioning.

[attachmentid=3740004][attachmentid=3740005][attachmentid=3740006][attachmentid=3740007][attachmentid=3740009]

Setting up or importing your gamertag/profile into the Xbox One. Personalise your color schemes for the tiles etc.

[attachmentid=3740010][attachmentid=3740012]

The new Home screen.

[attachmentid=3740013][attachmentid=3740014][attachmentid=3740015][attachmentid=3740016][attachmentid=3740017][attachmentid=3740018]

New look of the Profile, Friends, Achievements and Game DVR.

A few final notes:
- the console is really really REALLY quiet. Quite a stark contrast to the jet engine sound of the Xbox 360.
- Kinect works fine for us "Asian English" accent.
- If you're using the Harmony universal remote control, the Xbox One's codes are already on the online database. I set mine up with my Harmony One and it works perfectly.

Hope you enjoyed the photos. Time to clock in some game time on Ryse now.  blush.gif

I had contacted Microsoft yesterday and asked some questions about the warranty. Apparently, you have to sent your xbox one to US or wherever the console was initially bought from for repairs if it is broken. That would be a major problem for someone who ordered/bought it from overseas. Moreover, it has been confirmed that Asia consoles will only be released on November 2014.

Hello smile.gif . Where did you get your X1 from ?

I am planning to get mine from Australia and how about the games ?
Do you have to buy the games from the Australia region or anywhere online because Aus games are more expensive.

Thank,s

The problem is... its only 135 Watts.
Xbox One draws out nearly 120Watts at full capacity.
Still, it wont be efficient. Actual power for this cheap adapter must be lower than 135wATTS.

Currently I suggest you buy your games from Xbox Live since it's cheaper than you buy from AUS (If you have US account)
