Brown is good for gaming too. Used to use red for gaming - best for games.
Blue switches is darn loud when you are typing in a silent room, your colleagues can hear.
Making it uncomfortable while listening to music.
But it also gives some sound feedback that you already press the key during loud music.
That's the point,
Blue for keygasm.
Red for soft smooth typing.
Brown for errr, the half way between the 2?

why say red best for games ah? alot people say that @@ im using brown.. blue too loud for me
Brown and red practically had no much different.
Red for extra smoothness, while brown for the negligible tactile, LOL.

QUOTE(BlizzardCraft @ Nov 25 2013, 07:52 PM)
okay thx.. i'll contact him tru GH... if buy and courier to china itself, hope it would be cheaper @@
btw the sc2 keycaps from imsto and the one from the gb, why price difference so much ._.
one rm180 for 3, another rm70... material?
i shall get a poker II white edition red keys then
IINM, the one by imsto is made by hammer, with annodised finish, hence explain the price (you can check MKC's version too, it isn't cheap either).
The one in the picture above, with the shiny finishing is just electroplated metal keycaps (not too sure bout material).

I really wanna try browns tho.
I'm using reds to play osu, its all good but i feel like if got the tactile bump i know when to stop pressing the key
Skip brown, go 62g ergo clear directly.

No recent sale history, better doublecheck with imsto for the availability first.
Edited: Ok, noted that currently still available, but I think need back to back order.

hi can anybody help me with my keyboard?
the space bar sometimes stuck when i press it
Model?
Ok, noted, it is a hornet.
Since it is a Costar stabiliser board, try reseat the spacebar, if didn't help, lube it.
If still didn't help, do a overhaul and replace the whole stabiliser with a proper Costar made one.

I wonder if now I suddenly use 1.5x mod, will it affect my performance at dota2 lol I used to press Alt as I was playing dota for so long
Don't think there are problem with it,
Even those gaming brands with 1.5x Ctrl but 1.25x Alt ppl also no complain.
On custom board, the Alt actually is 1.5x size too.

hi,
keyboard newbie here.
Want to ask where I can find blank pbt key caps set?
Btw, coz I'm using Dvorak layout, so common qwerty not useful to me.
Thanks.
As long as you not looking for black color, taobao quite a lot.

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Nov 26 2013, 01:24 AM)
that means i have to stick with fancy colours for my Corsair K70?
what about blank translucent ones?
K70, non-standard layout.
So far only maxkeyboard got the adaption kit for the non-standard modifiers and spacebar.
For blank translucent keycaps (i think the material should be ABS iinm), taobao got sell, but not full set.
Edited: Just came across a perfect example to illustrate the pain of non-standard layout.

Thanks. Most colors I also can accept as long as blank.
Still looking in taobao store.
Just incase you need keywords.
- 无刻
- pbt
- keycool pbt
If only 37 keys are enough for you, then
- Cherry 无刻
Cherry profile

Ya. 37 keys are enough for me.
Cherry 38 I only need more tahan d key caps.
My link better, more reliable.
BTW, your model? Cause this set of keycaps are cherry profile, mean if you install it on OEM profile, it will be a tad shorter.

ducky shine2 Black (MX blue), Filco Majetouch 2 White(MX Brown)
Heard there are a lot of kind of key caps materials.
POM, PBT,
dye sub etc.
Which 1 is the most tahan 1 for intensive typing.
My ducky's ABS keys already shining using around 1-2months.
Dyesub isn't material, but the printing method.
Since your boards are OEM profile boards, I think the previous link isn't too suitable for you (that one cherry profile, if install on your board will be shorter than stock keycaps).
PBT and POM are durable enough for most ppl.
