I am not saying Cyberjaya is the best place for properties investment however considering all the factors that discussed above + some holding power in hand one should not be that wrong la. The landed is more value for money and best to buy while still affordable.
I am hoping skypark and Tamarind Sq changing Cyberjaya into Mont Kiara type commercials activities.
Another important point is that Cyberjaya is just next to Putrajaya - the administrative capital.
There's many world class facilities available for the public... I really encourage people to explore Putrajaya's park (Putrajaya Botanical Garden, Wetlands Park and Agriculture Heritage Park, etc), Marina Putrajaya, Equestrian center, Putrajaya Challenge Park (wall-climbing, skateboarding, mountain bike tracks and dirt jump), skyrides festival park. There's many choice of outdoor activity such as water cruise, water sports, cycling, jogging, bird watching, horse riding or just plain jogging with magnificent view of the Putrajaya Lake.
And don't forget the many world class event happening there (hot air balloom, LAMPU, Formula E, Floria, Putrajaya fireworks, various water sports championships at the Putrajaya Water Sport Complex etc).
There's no where else in Malaysia you can find all those facilities concentrated in one area.
I really think Putrajaya is a very nice place, but there's some restriction such as no pork and majority malay population. Cyberjaya is next to it and it's international living and there's no such restrictions. Cyberjaya has world class infra, well planned, next to Putrajaya, nearby air port, well connected highways, ERL and future MRT... So for long term, I really think it can never go wrong.
